Inside the locker room at TCO Performance Center, most players have a note on their stall reminding them that they might have to play with longer-studded cleats for Sunday night’s game against the Bears. Traditionally, the playing surface at Soldier Field can get sloppy during November and December, and some Vikings players are opting to practice with the longer-studded cleats.

Harrison Smith: “You’ve just got to feel which one works. Sometimes the light corner guys can get away with wearing the lower studs. Most of the other guys have to wear the higher studs.”

Vikings running back Dalvin Cook is off the team’s injury report for the first time since he injured his hamstring Sept. 16. That means he now has no restrictions on his workload.

DeFilippo: “To us, Dalvin’s full go. Obviously you’re going to see how the game is played out and those things. Dalvin’s anticipating being full go.”

Tight end David Morgan (knee) and safety Andrew Sendejo (groin) are both listed as out for Sunday’s game. Both players did not participate in practice this week.

Tackle Mike Remmers (low back), guard Tom Compton (knee), cornerback Xavier Rhodes (foot) and wide receiver Adam Thielen (low back/calf) were all limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Remmers and Thielen were limited again on Friday, but Compton and Rhodes fully participated.

Remmers and Compton were listed as questionable for Sunday. Rhodes and Thielen were not given a status and are expected to play.
