The hell do you bother to do a draw up the middle, then try to force the ball on the sideline on 3rd? Take anything that is a first and open (the middle of the ******* field) and then either clock it or time out and try to get a chunk and clock it after a big gain. Mostly because Lovie was more of a dominoes guy, Trestman was busy writing a book on leadership that he couldn't follow, and John Fox ate the chess pieces. I don't think the D has played as well as the score and yds might indicate; they've had open receivers downfield all half. God Goff's just been too cold to complete them.
