Sandwhich2 Posted March 12, 2019 Share Posted March 12, 2019 Not that upset about Barr because I was more skeptical of the transition to pass rusher than everyone else apparently, but kinda upset that it took us out if the running for a lot of other pass rushers. Would have liked either of the guys GB signed . This team needs pass rushers. It has for years and years. Getting frustrating. I still like Houston and Ansah as temporary guys and hopefully get some guys in the draft. Some other situational pass rusher could be guys like Benson Mayowa or Shaq Barrett. I agree, but you need one guy you can build around. Barr was expected to be that person. Now need to find someone else, and you won't find him in FA. Therefore he decided to back out. No, he backed out because Minny upped their offer closer to ours and he changed his mind. We are now using some of the extra money to up the offer to Bell. There is honestly no reason to be mad at Macc unless you think he should have upped the offer to Barr which may have taken us out on Bell. I thought we moved it for Bell. In essence changing what Barr was getting maybe the initial year or something. But the laughable thing is that we shouldn't have needed to offer Bell more money.
