Cowboys have beat

Giants - (2-8)
Giants - (2-8)
Patriots - (2-8)
Panthers - (1-9)
Rams - (3-6)
Chargers - (4-5)
Jets - (4-5)

A combined 18-49

Pretty sure all the pundits were complaining about how we weren't beating anybody good last year. Where's that same narrative with Dallas?

They also got blown the F out by San Fran, and lost to the lowly Cardinals who are picking top 5.

Idk if this is some obvious generality, but I'm convinced without special point-producing plays from the defense or special teams, Dallas is pretty average. In a straight up game with even points off turnovers between the teams, I think they'd struggle a LOT more.

β€œIf you remove a lot of what they do really well they’re pretty average”

In what way is that fair? The offense has also been notably strong on their own ever since the Niners game and the bye week. And that’s with resting in the 4th quarter the last two games. They also were inches away from beating your team in Philly.Β

Sure, but those games have largely been massacres even with starters resting in the 4th quarter. It’d be one thing if Dallas didn’t look overwhelmingly dominant and was instead just picking up ho-hum wins against teams they should beat. All they can do is play the teams on their schedule, and they’ve more than taken care of business.Β

The Niners game was obviously by far their worst performance of the season. It goes without saying that the Niners have been a thorn in their side for years now. The offense also obviously had a lot of adjusting to do with McCarthy taking over the offense from Moore, and those struggles culminated in that performance against the Niners. They have been (by far) better since that game and the bye week. That’s why they very easily could have beaten Philly in Philly a couple of weeks ago. I’d imagine Philly has to feel uneasy about a rematch at Dallas.

And sorry, but the Cowboys are the same as the Dolphins until proven otherwise.Β  Sure you can only play the teams on your schedule, but they only 2 good teams they've played they've gotten waxed and in the Eagles game if the Eagles don't go ultra conservative in the 4th qtr that game isn't nearly as close as it ended up being.Β Β

That was the exact narrative used against us last year though. And we would beat the teams with winning records we actually played against to (except when Hurts was out with the injury)

It's funny how much the media will bend over backward to just simp for Dallas no matter what the circumstances are.

They're so desperate to push the "This is Dallas's SB Year" they forget they've been banging thier heads against the wall in failure attempting to push that narrative for 27 straight years.
