Rick went after Whicker in the aftermath as Mafia, and is either feeling vindicated or laying it on thick at this point. The ET interactions are inordinately peculiar. I absolutely believe MD4L because he telegraphed it throughout the game to the point I find it believable. Also would exclude squire completely. I felt people who backed off his lynch immediately following the false hammer(s) could easily be non-town players banking on him flipping civ and trying to get in front of it. The whole Orca / MWil / Matts dynamic with the fake hammers irked me to the point I looked for connections and this was the most apparent possibility.
