I think it's a great deal btw but I've always been a Wong fan. I'm interested to see what the batting order would look like. Think I'd go...

1. Wong, 2B
2. Cain, CF
3. Yelich, LF
4. Hiura, 1B
5. Garcia, RF
6. Urias/Robertson, 3B
7. Narvaez, C
8. Arcia/Urias, SS

Assuming we don't bring in another bat. I'd actually look into Marwin Gonzalez to be our 3B and leave Urias as the UTIL guy for now.

1. Wong, 2B
2. Cain, CF
3. Yelich, LF
4. Hiura, 1B
5. Garcia, RF
6. Gonzalez, 3B
7. Narvaez, C
8. Arcia/Urias, SS

Weirdly enough, Wong has struggled near the top of the order.  He's a career 81 wRC+ batting lead off, 98 wRC+ batting 2nd, 113 wRC+ batting 7th, and 97 wRC+ batting 8th.

We'll probably leadoff with Cain anyways. I was just going L/R/L/R to break up the batters but that really doesn't matter with the 3 batter rule anyways.

Cain, Wong, Yelich, Hiura, Garcia, 3B, Narvaez, SS

But yeah acquiring Wong to move Hiura is like replacing a Porsche with a 2013 Corolla.

Yeah but it's Wisconsin. You can drive a Corolla in the snow therefore the 2013 Corolla >>> the Porsche

Also, Fangraphs continues to be the best lol...

Hiura was never a long-term fit at second base, and giving him a new position to learn now rather than later is certainly not a bad idea. The Brewers have struggled to generate offense at first base; before Hiura’s shift, they were relying on Daniel Vogelbach, an enjoyably-shaped player who got DFA’ed by two different teams last year.

Had we not traded Grisham/Davies for Urias/Lauer and then used Avi's $18 Million, giving that to Didi and Asdrubal Cabrera or Maikel Franco for a year rather than 2 years for Avi, we may have won the Central last year, assuming Cain doesn't opt out too. Also, wouldn't have had to sign Lindblom.

1. Cain, CF
2. Grisham, RF
3. Yelich, LF
4. Gregorius, SS
5. Hiura, 2B
6. Braun/Vogelbach, DH
7. Vogelbach/Franco, 1B
8. Cabrera/Franco/UTIL guy, 3B
9. Narvaez/Pina, C

1. Woodruff
2. Burnes
3. Davies
4. Anderson/Suter
5. Houser/Peralta

We may have won the damn NL Central and made a run.
