#1 pick in PPR

I have a draft on Thursday, full PPR I am at #1. I am seriously considering McCaffrey over Saquon. I don’t love tying myself to the Giants offense, I’d rather tie myself to the Panthers who I expect to score more points. How nuts am I?

Not at all.  CMC would be a solid pick.  Tough choice for sure.

Not nuts at all. Saquon was voted #1 in our Big board on FF fwiw. At the very least he is the 2nd best. I still have Saquon ahead of him but CMC comes with less risk. Honestly if I had a gun to my head I still might take CMC despite having Saquon ahead. The difference is less than .25 ppg on my projections

McCaffrey is the safest #1 in PPR.  Saquon has a higher ceiling IMO, but I don't know that he's Daniel Jones proof (my own feelings about Daniel Jones' quality aside, my gut tells me that Shurmur's playcalling becomes even more predictable if Jones is the starter than if Eli is... and that doesn't bode well for Saquon).  C-Mac could legitimately go for 1000 & 1000 this season and that's not counting the additional points you'l get for the receptions (and pass-catching running backs in a Norval Turner system always do well).
