Dallas also traded a 6th rounder for Quinn who has 6 sacks in 7 games.

No team has made MORE player trades than the NE Patriots over the past decade.

The aversion to making player trades that seems to persist among some Packer fans is truly baffling.

We're dumb ... we fell into the draft and develop mindset, and then fell out of contention.

Lol.  It was not a success.

Cooper is still good Cooper/Bad Cooper and the Cowboys still have nobody in their secondary.  This is the final year of his deal, so the Cowboys either lost out on Jonathan Abrams (who was playing crazy well before his injury), or they pay 20 million a year to Cooper, and thus miss out on Elliot or Prescott.  If you think they can pay all three and keep a competitive team outside of those three, you're wrong.

Cooper brought that offense up a full notch. Nothing else matters to me. The Cowboys could have used that 1st rounder to get a future Pro Bowl player or a guy who is out of football in 4 years. They cancelled out that risk by getting a sure thing in Cooper. It was a success.

Man's making 14 million THIS SEASON. It's not like they even got a cheap year out of him.

If he goes for 1300/10, some will feel that's worth it.

The trade for Amari was a success, now Jerry is trying to repeat the same.

Dallas was 3-5 when the trade for Cooper was made.

Dallas got to the NFC Championship after the trade.

Dallas has plenty of cap space to sign Cooper.

Cooper is on pace for >1,400 yards this season and 11 TDs.

Of course it was a good trade according to anyone with a brain.
