Should the NFL step in AB/Patriots

While New Englands part in it probably wold never be proven, this was absolutely at the very minimum planned by Brown from the start to get on New England. He never had any intention playing with the Raiders. Never played a snap in TC. Trying to punch the GM. Posting private calls and posting up private fines. He never wanted to play here.

The Patriots offered more than the Raiders for him. He already killed the Buffalo deal. He could have killed the Raiders deal if he wanted. He probably just didn't like the situation and threw a tantrum and his agent heard through the grapevine NE would explore signing him and then made it happen. Happens all the time in sports

Pittsburgh is the one who blocked the NE deal. His preferred destination was always NE. I'm not saying NE was in on this but this was 100% Browns plan and I hope he is suspended at some point. He never practiced here, fake drama constantly, almost hits the boss, posts fines on instagram, never bought a house here. He NEVER planned to play a snap for Oakland. Never.

Investigation will happen.

But that's what I'm saying though. They already had reason to believe NE had interest. All it really took was for Drew to send his feelers out and say "is what's happening turning you off, or would you give him something he can respect if he found a way out". Someone winks. Thar's how this stuff works.

It likely wasn't "AB planned all year to not play for the Raiders, and all the antics were bs to get off the team and he was coordinated with the Patriots all the ways he could get out. He apologized literally a day ago and it wasn't until the Raiders told him they were voiding money that he publicly asked to get a release.

IMO he was trying to get the money and get released. Hence the apology. After Week 1, we wouldn't of been able to void his guarantees, even with dismissive action.

He planned it all from the get go in my honest opinion. He's just not the sharpest tool in the shed and probably thought all his money was guaranteed right away. His goal was to never play a down for the Raiders. All the evidence strongly suggests that.

I really don't think it does. He released recordings of him and his agent talking about trades from Pittsburgh and he was excited about the Raiders. The foot **** happens and the helmet thing was stupid. But really it came down to money. He couldn't handle the fine and couldn't handle the voided guarantees. Once the money became an issue he started turning against the organization.

Of course he sounded happy to be a Raider. The goal was to lie from the get go which he is a specialist at. Everything he says are lies, and he's dang good at it. Ask Steeler fans too.

If he’s a liar and released recording of his excitement to become a raider - what kind of evidence do you think an investigation is going to unfold?

Some of you are grasping at straws. Anything short of this Idiot admitting this was orchestrated and he had been in contact before the release with the Patriots.  There is nothing that can be done! All circumstantial. No matter the optics!

Now to be clear AB is stupid enough to accidentally let that info drop in a PC, Instagram, Tweet, GD YouTube video. So  anything is possible. Otherwise nothing will occur.

Assuming one caveat. AB and Drew were not stupid enough to talk via Text/Email!!!!!

Brown knew what he was doing when he started with his stories with his feet and helmet.

Brown wanted to go with the Pats and he knew it was possible since the Pats often signed (or trade) talented players who had trouble with other teams, but if it was low risk, the Pats were signed this player.

I do not blame the Pats on that, but for Brown, he does not deserve to have what he wants after having one of the most embarrassing behavior in NFL history!

We can't blame the Raiders, Steelers fans and other fan in the NFL for finding this situation disgraceful.

Also for.those saying there was a 5 hr span of 'negotiation'. That's b.s. he was not even eligible to sign with another team until 4pm today. It was just after 5 when he signed with NE and thus far there isnt even an indication that his agent contacted a single other team

He was eligible to negotiate the minute he was released per league rules. He couldn't sign until 4PM. So they had from 9 to 4 to hammer out a deal.
