She nets $450k doing it right now. But thats not the point is it? Its an investment into her becoming a judge (her end goal).
SwAg
You don't have to be a specialist to be a judge.

SwAg
Again, I'm not here to trash your girlfriend, but maybe not throw stones in your glass house when you're rank zero on a subject. Not many lawyers will opt to invest in that because it's not worth it to them. The fact that your girlfriend thinks it is means that it is worth it to her, even if 95% of all lawyers will never seek a similar certification. Ragnarok
Yes, you do. So it is something that she can claim when she is campaigning. Which really does make it like an 'organic' sticker. Some voters might care and choose her because of that, some won't give a damn...but it doesn't hurt.

My only point is, a test that has a less than 20% pass rate and is respected cant hurt. I did the same thing in my industry. Ive passed multiple test that I cant even legally hold out as I own for the sole reason of saying I know a subject intensely.
SwAg
Plus, you are typically considered specialist in a field after 15 years of practice in it. So, I guess this could be relevant for evidence purposes? I guess
