We've seen what average QB play looks like. It's going to be very strange watching a younger guy fail to make reads and overthrow half of the difficult passes he's asked to make, but it's not going to look that different than what we're seeing now.

How can you correctly state that he's aging and that he isn't as good as he used to be, yet so adamantly reject the idea that he might be an average QB?

Because if Rodgers is average, Brady is too.

I also think the QB play around the NFL is terrible so, in the grand scheme, he's not average compared to his peers. He's aging. Sure. He's not average. Especially with how loosely you use the term. If this WR group is average or closer to average, then Rodgers is above average because this WR group is asswater.

Cool? How often were those balls perfectly placed and housed like you expect every time Rodgers throws to MVS? Cuz that's the ******* point. I don't care if Brees was able to lay it up to Thomas or Ginn and complete it. I want the context. Cuz, LIS, you bitched when Rodgers connected with MVS vs the Bears. It wasn't good enough for you. But sure, no agenda.

TDs aren't on the study. I couldn't tell you. I can tell you that Rodgers deep ball accuracy dropped 15% from two years ago to last year.

Are you going to tell me that the throw in the Bears game was good? That the expectation is that the receiver should have to stop in his route?

Brady's offense is almost half a point better in PPD right now. Brady's currently running a borderline top 10 offense, and that's using a ton of drives to kill clock.

The throw was fine. It wasn't perfect but it got the job done. You want him to be perfect. That's your interpretation of good. You want Godgers and if he's not Godgers, he's not good.

You proved my point though. When he does complete those shots, it's simply not good enough for you. Gotta be perfect.

He's also played the school of the deaf and the blind 4 of 5 games. How was he when he played a real defense?

Yes, the expectation of a professional QB is that when a WR is running wide open, the ball should hit him in stride?

I don't believe that's a controversial opinion.

Oh, yeah? And how many of them are actually hit in stride? Cuz I can tell you even Patrick Mahomes doesn't hit the deep ball perfect.

Mahomes frequently hits his deep ball targets in stride. That's what makes him great?

I'm not even expecting Rodgers to be hitting his receivers in stride at this point. Forget that. I just want him to get them catchable balls on 50% of his throws.
