Rookie HB McBride is back healthy and in the starting lineup. Also I have good news for once, Rookie TE Solomon Beachum had one of those challenges to improve his Dev trait and he successfully completed it. I'll consider franchise tagging him in the offseason but I can't afford to pay this to someone who's career best in sacks is 9 in a season. FB Jimmy McCauley (87) - 3 years, $4.0 mil salary, $1.50 mil SB, $4.47 Y1 Cap hit - $16.4 mil Total Contract - This is probably crazy expensive for a FB but he just does so much for my offense. LG Jonah Williams (86) - 4 years, $8.8 mil salary, $2.70 mil SB, $8.42 Y1 Cap hit - $46.2 mil Total Contract - Expensive, but he's only 25 and talented. LE Marcus Davenport (82) - no offer - He wants a $8+ mil per year deal. He's a backup caliber player IMO, not worth that money. CB Vernon Hargreaves (81) - 1 year, $3.0 mil salary, $2.0 mil SB, $5.00 Y1 cap hit - $5.0 mil Total Contract - He just wanted a 1 year deal, he's 28 so it sounds good to me. He's a solid slot CB. K Joey Slye (81) - 2 years, $2.4 mil salary, $1.70 mil SB, $3.74 Y1 cap hit - $8.1 mil Total Contract - Starting Kicker. RG Cory Yarborough (80) - 3 years, $5.8 mil salary, $2.65 mil SB, $7.65 Y1 cap hit - $16.8 mil Total Contract - This one I debated, I can't afford to bring everyone back. Yarborough is solid but nothing special. Also Oline are some of the easiest to replace in the draft. However, my starting RT is also a pending FA and I didn't want to have to replace two starting Olineman in one offseason. Yarborough wants more money than Shields but he's also better than Shields. RT William Shields (80) - No offer - I'm going to mull this over. Maybe I change my mind in the offseason and re-sign him anyways. For now it feels like I need to preserve some cap. DT Andrew Billings (79) - 1 year, $3.5 mil salary, $1.5 mil SB, $5.0 Y1 cap hit - $5.0 mil Total Contract - He's an average starter, and he'll be 29 next year. But he only wanted a 1 year contract so why not? LOLB Alex Anzalone (79) - no offer - He'll be 29 next year. He's just an average starter and wants a 4 year deal. I'm ready to move on. CB Marvell Tell III (77) - no offer - I just brought him in to fill a backup roster spot this year. I need to draft more CB depth. QB Timmy Nolan (70) - no offer - He's 27 and only 70 OVR. I need to find a new back up QB next year. LT Jacoby Trout (68) - 3 years, $950k salary, $350k SB, Y1 1.06 mil cap hit - $3.9 mil Total Contract - He was an UDFA this year. MLB Tre Harvin (65) - 3 years, $650k salary, $100k SB, Y1 590k cap hit - $2.25 mil Total Contract - Also an UDFA. LG Kevin Kadela (76) - no offer - He's a good backup but backup Olineman are so easy to find in the draft. He'll make a good starter for someone. SS Tyler Snee (74) - 2 years, $1.5 mil salary, $1.0 mil SB, $2.26 Y1 cap hit - $5.0 mil Total Contract - He's a year younger than Vasher and a better player IMO (Vasher can't tackle). HB Donnel Pumphrey Jr (71) - no offer - Time to move on. LE Anthony Weeks (72) - no offer - He wants 3 mil per year and he's 3rd string. Ya I kind of backed off drafting high Olineman because I had so many other holes on the roster, and I had some later round Oline picks that were good enough but I'm probably going to target a new starter in this upcoming draft. Linebacker has been tough. Usually there are some solid Lbers in the 2nd & 3rd rounds, but that just hasn't been the case in these draft classes. I gotta say I think I've been hit by a string of bad draft classes in a row. If you look at them most of them there aren't a lot of high end players, and I've also never had a top 5 pick in any class.
