EaglesPeteC
EPC'S Night Before the Draft Official 1st Round Mock 1. Bengals- Joe Burrow QB LSU Analysis: Duh. Let’s move on. 2. Dolphins- Tua Tagoviola QB Alabama Analysis: The Dolphins trade a haul to get up to two to get the guy they have coveted all along. 3. Patriots- Chase Young DE OSU Analysis: I don’t think this was the initial plan when the Patriots traded so many assets to get to #3, but the Dolphins did what they needed to do to get to #2 and sniped the Pats. So Patriots invest in Teddy Two Gloves and decide to take an elite pass rusher instead of reaching for a QB. 4. Lions- Jeffery Okudah CB OSU Analysis: The Lions trade down and then trade back up to get the elite defender that they coveted all along. 5. Redskins- Jedrick Wills T Alabama Analysis: In the trade back the Redskins actually get the top player at their position of greatest need. 6. Chargers- Justin Herbert QB Oregon Analysis: This depends on if the Pats or Lions are targeting a QB or not, but the Chargers get to stand pat with all the movement in front of them and get their QB. 7. Panthers- Derrick Brown DT Auburn Analysis: Instead of reaching for a QB, the Panthers take the blue chip interior defender to solidify their front. 8. Cardinals- Ceedee Lamb WR Okla Analysis: The Cards did a fine job in free agency plugging roster holes to be able to reunite Kyler with his number #1 target in college in the pros. 9. Jaguars- Isiah Simmons LB Clemson Analysis: While LB isn’t the biggest need, you don’t let good players prevent you from taking great players. Simmons at this stage of the draft is a steal and will give the Jags a centerpiece and identity on defense 10. Browns- Tristin Wirfs OL Iowa Analysis: The Browns biggest need still continues to be offensive line and they are able to get a good one here. 11. Jets- Meckhai Becton T Louisville Analysis: The Jets are shockingly weak at offensive line. This is a dream scenario for them. 12. Raiders- Jerry Jeudy WR Alabama Analysis: The Raiders biggest need is still an elite playmaker on offense 13. Colts- Jordan Love QB Utah St. Analysis: Looking at the roster, the hole at QB just stands out like a sore thumb 14. Buccaneers- K’Vlon Chaission EDGE LSU Analysis: After lose both Shaq Barrett and JPP grabbing an elite rusher is their best option here. 15. Broncos- Henry Ruggs III WR Alabama Analysis: They grabbed Sterling Sheppard to play slot so they get the elite field stretcher to compliment him and Courtland Sutton to create and great set of weapons for Drew Lock. 16. Falcons- AJ Epenesa EDGE Iowa Analysis: The Falcons ignore the terrible combine and bet on the production to get a pass rusher on the outside 17. Cowboys- Javon Kinlaw DT South Carolina Analysis: A perfect scenario for the Cowboys and Kinlaw drops right in their lap 18. Redskins- CJ Henderson CB Florida Analysis: The Redskins move down and are able to grab a desperately needed cover CB for their defense. 19. Raiders- Patrick Queen LB LSU Analysis: Burfict is still listed as a starter and he may be getting suspended as we speak 20. Giants- Andrew Thomas T Georgia Analysis: The board falls pretty much perfectly for a Giants team still needing at tackle after the big trade down. 21. Eagles- Grant Delpit S LSU Analysis: The Eagles are desperate for a playmaker at safety and need to infuse some youth with two aging starters. 22. Bills- Laviska Shenault WR Colorado Analysis: Josh Allen still needs a playmaker. Shenault’s injury history makes this a risk but one they should take as Shenault can score from anywhere on the field. 23. Lions- Xavier McKinney S Alabama Analysis: The Lions continue to rebuild their secondary with their second 1st round pick 24. Saints- Kenneth Murray LB Okla Analysis: Anzalone just lives in the moments between IR trips. 25. Vikings- Kristin Fulton CB Clemson Analysis: After losing both starting CB’s in FA this is a very nice scenario for the Vikings 26. Lions- Cesar Ruiz IOL Michigan Analysis: The Lions bulk up their interior oline with their 3rd 1st rounder with the best G/C in the class. 27. Seahawks- Trevon Diggs CB Alabama Analysis: Is there a CB that is more of a Seahawks CB than Trevon Diggs? 28. Ravens- Zac Baun LB/EDGE Wisconsin Analysis: Baun really would fit in perfectly in the Ravens multiple front attacking defense. 29. Titans- Yetur Gross Matos DE PSU Analysis: The Titans continue to build through the trenches getting an edge rusher with all of the physical tools. 30. Packers- D’Andre Swift RB Georgia Analysis: The Packers wait on WR to get the best RB in the draft after trading away Aaron Jones 31. Dolphins- Jeff Gladney CB TCU Analysis: The Dolphins traded Xavien Howard and replace him with a long athletic cover CB 32. Chiefs- Lloyd Cushenberry III C LSU Analysis: The Chiefs can use an upgrade at both center and guard and Cush should provide a starter in one of the few places the Chiefs could use one.

EaglesPeteC
ATLANTA FALCONS DRAFT DAY 1 AND DAY 2 PRESS CONFERENCE The Atlanta Falcons are very excited about the work we have done over the first two days of the draft and the 4 players we acquired who were all very high on our board. First of all DT Javon Kinlaw was a top 10-12 player on our board, so we were jumping for joy as he was there for us at 16. Kinlaw can fill a very unique role in the Falcons defense. Dan Quinn likes to use a DT/DE hybrid at LDE on base downs and then slide him inside on 3rd downs. We believe Kinlaw is the ideal fit for this role and will pair up wonderfully with Grady Jarrett to make one of the most disruptive DT duo's in the league. Kinlaw is a high character player that we think can turn into a pillar on our defense. After that we were really excited on day two to land DE/OLB Josh Uche. We love Uche's explosiveness and versatility. We see Uche filling the role left vacant by Vic Beasley. Uche can be a rush SAM on early downs and then put his hand in the dirt and rush on passing downs. We were fortunate enough to land Kyler Fackrell in Free Agency who we also see similarly and can help split that role until Josh can get acclimated to the NFL and the full scope of what we want him to do. Josh's speed, pass rushing ability and fluidity in space fits the ideal profile of this role in our defense. A few picks later, we were able to pick up RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire who we are absolutely ecstatic about. After moving on from Devonta Freeman, we had a real need to bring in a play maker at the RB position. Edwards-Helaire is a 3 down back who is just a touchdown maker with speed, vision and pass catching ability, we are confident he can step right in and be a huge weapon in our offense. Lastly in the 3rd Round we got a player who we had a 2nd Round grade on in S Jeremy Chinn. Despite being from a small school Chinn as shown great versatility and athleticism on tape. In Mobile and Indy, he has shown he is a big time player who can develop into a difference maker on the backend.

Nice I got 13/32 exact picks correct! My two picks would have been "correct" if I didn't intentionally put a player I wasn't targeting. Then 3 more that were very close. VigilantZombie
According to sources, Jabari Zuniga and the Chargers FO have discussing him coordinating with a nutritionist to lose approximately 10-15 lbs for Outside Linebacker. However it has also been discussed that he may be asked to actually gain weight for Defensive End.
EaglesPeteC
Philadelphia Eagles Day 1 and Day 2 Draft Press Conference We are very excited about the 3 players we have brought in over the first two days of the draft. We have had pretty much an ideal scenario for our board and our needs. S Xavier McKinney was a top 15 player on our board and Safety is a position that we very much needed an infusion of youth. Although we feel great about our starting duo of Malcolm Jenkins and Tre Boston having a top talent like McKinney as a 3rd safety and the future of the position is idea. We see McKinney as having a very similar skill set to Malcolm. Xavier is someone who is incredibly skilled and versatile and smart and can play all over the back 7 of our defense. It was a bit of a risk we would loose out on him when we traded down from 21 to 24, but to make that move and still get him was like a dream scenario for us. One of the reasons we felt good about traded down from 21 that we felt that if McKinney was gone, we'd be really happy with WR Jalen Reagor at 24. After round 1 ended and Reagor was still available we started calling around about trading up and at 39, Reagor was still available and we were able to get up to secure him without giving up that 3rd. Reagor gives us the need for youth, speed and big play ability as a deep threat, on jet sweeps and in the return game. His explosive play making ability is precisely was we coveted picking up in this draft. To be able to pick up two players we were so high on in the first two rounds was a dream scenario for the Eagles. With the trade down in Round 1 we moved up significantly in round 3 and as we got closer to pick 88, we loved the options on our board and the Ravens came calling for pick 88. We were able to drop down to 92 and get back in to the 4th after trading away both 4ths to get Reagor. This is big for us to be able to have 5 picks on day 3. In the end we got the guy that we coveted at 88 anyway in DT Jordan Elliott. Elliott is a mammoth of a man with all of the skill and potential in the world. We think he will slide right in on a rotation with Malik Jackson and Hassan Ridgeway next to all pro DT Fletcher Cox. We think he has huge upside to contribute on limited snaps in year 1 and grow into a starter down the line. Now we have 5 picks on day 3 to hopefully make some more great additions to our roster.
RedGold
Chiefs write up through 4 Rounds. Round 1: Ezra Cleveland, OT, Boise State The tape on Cleveland is pretty ugly, not going to lie. He has a ton to clean up and needs to improve his strength. Going into the offseason, we needed a swing OT. Cleveland has a ton of potential. In a perfect world, he will never see the field this year. Fisher and Schwartz have the two OT spots locked down. Cleveland has a year to develop, in hopes that he will be able to slide into the LT/RT spot next year. Sitting with 43 Mil Cap in 2021 for a Mahomes extension, we were also looking for ways to create more, Cleveland gives us the option to trade Fisher/Schwartz for more picks next year while also freeing up much needed cap room. Would have like to trade down a bit, but no offers worth taking and this gives us a 5th year option. Round 2: Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah Honestly Jaylon was in our top 3 options for our #1 selection. Not saying our first round was great value, this is right around where I expect Jaylon to go. Happy to add Jaylon to our CB group, while we aren’t expecting him to be a #1 CB, we feel his floor is a good #2 CB. He’s pretty versatile, in that we won’t be locked into strictly man/zone coverages with Jaylon. For the time being, Jaylon will be depth behind Breeland/Brock/Ward. Pretty confident that by year 2 Jaylon will be starting on the outside. Round 2: Brandon Aiyuk, WR, Arizona State Again he was right with the 2 guys selected above and was talked about for our #1 selection. Not exactly sure how Aiyuk will start off his career with us, but we like his talent. Hill/Hardman are locked in for big time roles. Aiyuk would be competing with Demarcus Robinson and David Moore for reps. It’s a deep WR room, but we felt Aiyuk helps replace that intermediate target we lost in Sammy. Not concerned in the slightest with his 4.50 as he plays faster and a deep threat is really the last thing we need on this team. Can definitely see him slide into a starting role in 2021. Round 4: Anthony McFarland Jr, RB, Maryland While not exactly the type of RB we were looking for, the value for McFarland in the 4th Round was too much to pass up. Don’t really see McFarland ever being the lead back, but definitely adds a little “flash” to our subpackages. Defenses better be locked in when our Hill, Hardman, Aiyuk, Kelce, McFarland package hits the field. As stated earlier, I don’t believe McFarland ever grows into the lead back role in his career, but he’s definitely someone Andy can find a way to get in space. Round 4: Lynn Bowden Jr., WR , Kentucky Ha Chiefs selected another WR. Honestly I just like the person and player. With Hill, Hardman, Robinson, Aiyuk, David Moore already, he’s fighting with David Moore to receive even a small amount of touches year 1. I’m giving this guy to Dave Toub in the early years of his career. I see a pro bowl core special teams player in Lynn Bowden, punt/kick coverages, all facets of special teams. Don’t really need a kick returner, but he has those skills as well. Another toy for Greg Lewis to coach up at WR, but for the most his early years he will be groomed as a leader for all ST units. VigilantZombie
Comments from LAC GM at Press Conference Will Any of the draft selections start right away.? There is a possibility that Center, Tyler Biadasz could. But everyone will get the opportunity to compete for their roles. What was your philosophy coming into this drafr? To be honest, this team has been in a failing reload mode for a while now. Obviously our offseason started by purging the majority of the roster. We went into this draft feeling strongly that we want to rebuild the right way and we arent trying to do it all in one draft but we are trying to acquire guys we feel we can develop into long term players for us. Each position we selected we feel confident we have experienced players in those roles that can start right away and the rookies can be developed and get their feet wet at different points of the season. That is why Andy Dalton and Frank Gore and others were signed. We dont need Dalton to be Tom Brady. We need him to make good decisions and use the running game. Jason Peters is a plug at left tackle for a couple of seasons as our offensive line develops. We dont know if Pipkens' long term.future is at left or right tackle yet. The opportunity did not present itself for us to get a Tackle we wanted so that is a position we will look to in future drafts but we feel we did a thorough job of adding players throughout the roster that we can develop. ny92mike
New York Giants The Giants started the season off with YogiBiz as the team's General Manager. Unfortunately he didn't stick around very long after making some loud splashes early on acquiring the following players; 1478 - Kenny Golladay - WR 2242 - Taylor Decker - LT 1793 - Mitch Morse - C These additions while helping the team came at a tremendous cost, if we take into consideration the future picks as two of these trades cost us our 1st and 2nd round picks the following year. Probably the best trades that were made during his time was acquiring a deal with Denver getting their 77th overall pick for Sterling Shepard, who has a history of concussions and just hasn't been putting up the numbers like we had hoped he would. The other would be the addition of center Mitch Morse acquired from Buffalo during nayad's short time as GM. From there the value of the following additions falls heavily in favor of the Detroit Lions, commanded by veteran member @winitall who took not only a slew of talent but also stole both our 1st and 2nd round picks next season. Even though these mocks don't really put any value on future picks on paper losing both of these picks should get you fired. The team placed the transition tag on Leonard Williams and eventually extended that contract making it a much more affordable long term deal. Going from a 12.4 million single season contract to a 4 year / $51,510,000 deal where the first year cap hit is 7.8 m jumping to year two to 13.6 m containing a total guaranteed amount of 18 million. The team missed out on some big names in the first round of free agency and I'll put that on me for saying that he was offering too much cap for the targets. I'm not certain if the original amounts would have landed the following but we missed out on Byron Jones - CB, Jack Conklin - OT, Shaq Barrett - Edge. Free Agency Targets (red text denotes outbid) Round 1 1674 - Markus Golden - 34OLB 0322 - Byron Jones - CB 1056 - Jack Conklin - RT 2149 - Shaquil Barrett - 34OLB Round 2 0364 - Carl Nassib - 34OLB 2293 - Todd Davis - ILB 0244 - Bradley Roby - CB Round 3 0296 - Brian Poole - CB 2023 - Ricky Wagner - RT Round 4 1797 - Mitchell Trubisky - QB 0943 - George Fant - LT 0256 - Brandon Dunn - 34DT Round 5 2142 - Seth Roberts - WR 0692 - DeAndre Washington - RB Round 6 No Bids Round 7 1760 - Michael Thomas - S 0869 - Elijhaa Penny - RB 1051 - Jabaal Sheard - 43DE 0642 - Darryl Roberts - CB 1113 - James Burgess - ILB 1782 - Mike Remmers - RT Round 8 0565 - Dakota Dozier - LG 0149 - Antoine Bethea - S Round 9 0098 - Amba Etta-Tawo - WR 0584 - Damon Harrison - 34DT 0814 - Dre Kirkpatrick - CB 2059 - Ronald Leary - RG 0151 - Antonio Hamilton - CB Maybe it was a good thing that we didn't get too much early on because it allowed us to bid heavy in the later rounds. It really wasn't until @rackcs joined the team until things started looking up. I gave him complete control of the draft and he's managed to build quite the roster. 1ST Rnd - Pick 20 | Overall: 20 | NYG selects Justin Jefferson - WR 2ND Rnd - Pick 19 | Overall: 51 | NYG selects Julian Okwara - EDGE 3RD Rnd - Pick 9 | Overall: 73 | NYG selects Akeem Davis-Gaither - OLB 3RD Rnd - Pick 32 | Overall: 96 | NYG selects Ben Bredeson - OG 4TH Rnd - Pick 3 | Overall: 106 | NYG selects Ben Bartch - OT 4TH Rnd - Pick 29 | Overall: 132 | NYG selects Troy Pride Jr. - CB 6TH Rnd - Pick 21 | Overall: 201 | New York Giants 7TH Rnd - Pick 33 | Overall: 248 | New York Giants TRADES Quote Denver Broncos trade:3RD Rnd - Pick 13 | Ovrall: 77 New York Giants trade:2197 - Sterling Shepard - WR 6TH Rnd - Pick 8 | Ovrall: 184 Quote BUF trades C Mitch Morse NYG trades Pick #150 (132 w/o comp picks included) Pick #245 (215 w/o comp picks included) Quote NYG Trades IDL Dalvin Tomlinson TE Evan Engram, ED/LB Lorenzo Carter, Pick #98 2021 2nd Round Pick DET Trades WR Kenny Golladay Quote Trade Announcement: The Detroit Lions Trade LT Taylor Decker Pick #20 Overall Pick #106 to the New York Giants for Pick #4 Overall Pick #258 Overall 2021 First Round Pick Quote TRADE ALERT Giants trade 7TH Rnd - Pick 30 | Overall: 245 | New York Giants Conditional 2021 6th Round pick Broncos trade 2071 - Royce Freeman - RB Current Cap situation: TOP 51 Cap Space $10,132,744 Top 51 $174,042,633 League Cap $200,000,000 Total Cap Hit $192,990,633 Dead Money $3,999,121 Accrued Dead Money $13,855,070 Carry Over $2,029,568 Accrued dead money Accured Dead Money $13,855,070 2012 - Rhett Ellison - TE (Retired) $2,188,383 0904 - Evan Engram - TE (Traded) $1,483,826 2197 - Sterling Shepard - WR (Traded) $8,000,000 2178 - Spencer Pulley - C (Cut) $0 0571 - Dalvin Tomlinson - 34DT (Traded) $366,291 1604 - Lorenzo Carter - 34OLB (Traded) $524,902 1438 - Kareem Martin - 34OLB (Cut) $1,166,668 0149 - Antoine Bethea - S (Cut) $125,000 Team Active Roster (ordered based on PFF Grade) Roster Info: Active 82 Released 8 June 1st 2 PS/Inactive 0 Will produce a depth chart at the end of the mock. We really focused on rebuilding the defensive line and adding more talent to the defensive side of the ball. We started Day 3 with a player we are really excited about in C Nick Harris, Harris can learn from Alex Mack and take over for him when it is time to move on. Harris moves well for the position and is a really strong blocker in space in which we covet. In the 5th Round, we were very excited to continue to build up our pass rush by drafted DE Alex Highsmith, who is a speed rusher that had some great production in college when he played top competition and impressive speed and technique. Adding situation pass rushers to keep the pressure on opposing QB's was a main goal in this draft and Highsmith can help provide depth and quality rushes in limited snaps. Round 7 marked our 4th addition to the defensive line DE/DT Jason Strowbridge. We had a 4th round grade on Jason and we felt the value was just too good to pass up at this point in the draft. He can play all up and down the defensive line. Strowbridge can play the edge and kick inside. He is a great depth fit for the way we use our LE in our defensive system Edited March 15, 2020 by EaglesPeteC

With the pick we got back from the Ravens for trading down we were able to pick up another safety who we are very high on in K'Von Wallace. Wallace is a tremendously versatile player who can play single high, cover the slot and can be a core special teams player. We believe the long term prospects of having Wallace and McKinney as our safety duo is so exciting because they both play all over the secondary. To start the 5th Round, we picked up a LB we are very excited about in David Woodward. David is a really active and high IQ football player that can key and diagnose plays quickly. Woodward is a strong run defender with upside in the passing game that can come in a compete for a starting job immediately. Two picks later we were able to get one of our favorite players in the draft in WR QUARTNEY DAVIS. Davis was on our short list since our 3rd round selection so he was a no brainer for us here in the 5th. We love Davis's size and speed combo. He is an incredibly crisp route runner and can be dynamic is space. Davis has the size and movement skills play both in the slot and on the outside Then just a few picks later we grabbed another guy who we were very excited about in T Justin Herron. Herron is great in space and in pass protection and really has the movement skills and athleticism we look for in a tackle. Herron with compete with Jordan Maliata as our swing T. Then in the 6th, we added to our RB room with Patrick Taylor Jr.. Taylor is a big back with the size we coveted to compliment our existing RB's. Taylor isn't just a big body who can give us short yardage, but is really good in the screen and passing game making him an ideal fit for what we need in our offense. We thought we were done in the draft but a player we had really high on our board kept slipping down so we moved some assets for the right to draft CB Harrison Hand. Hand is a local product who is a big and physical CB who won't be afraid of roughing up WR's and get his nose in there for run support. We think he has not only a chance to make the team but be a strong contributor on defense and special teams
