None of these dudes are in their primes anymore so, I mean, fall offs happen. Each one of them, not including the sports entertainer, won 2 world titles in their primes. Duke Roufus is a goon tho. Never changed anything for any fighter. Erik Koch is a victim of that man. Dude started getting his head taken off and he changed nothing about their defensive striking. Duke doesn't know **** about defensive striking and all his guys leave their heads on the center line with their hands low. 11sanchez11 Posted April 24, 2021 Share Posted April 24, 2021 (edited) usman was preparing for burns the 1st time v masvidal. we saw what usman's gameplan was v burns, to avoid the ground and if they do grapple keep it only to the clinch. maybe why he wasn't prepared as well to take masvidal down and he just kept it in the clinch. also it sucks the ufc cut hardy, his breakdowns with goodman were great. he still does them on his own channel but he can't use video now. Masvidal actually had a pretty decent first round against Usman in the first fight. Stuffed 2/3 takedowns and out struck him 34 to 25. But in the final 4 rounds Usman was able to take him down 4 times and out struck him 238 to 54. Other than the Usman fight in his UFC career Masvidal has a 76% TDD rate. And the only other fight in his career he has been taken down more than 2 times were against Benson Henderson (3/12) and Damian Maia (4/12). agarcia34 Posted April 24, 2021 Share Posted April 24, 2021 Was looking over the odds and kind of surprised that Weidman is a favorite over Hall. We seen Weidman chin deteriorate over the past couple years and Hall is just so much quicker. Scary match up with Hall. Gonna take me some Hall +123 also gonna take under 4.5 rounds at +145 dont see it going the distance Usman gonna want to prove a point and get a finish and Jorge knows he cant win this by decision and will be aggressive which we saw from him in round 1 of the first fight.
