Claypool at 6'4 238lbs. Expected to run 4.4s.

Was 229 at the Senior Bowl.  Maybe hes thinking TE.

i mocked him to us last week as a TE, I would take the chance on him

If he runs under 4.5 at that size  Woah!

I like him at WR but if he went to TE he would have to gain 7-12 lbs on his weight at the combine.

I dont think that would be hard for him to do, but honestly hes kinda built like reed and evan engram so I think he could adjust, need to see his work on blocking

I think there’s a fair chance that Thaddeus Moss isn’t even the first LSU TE drafted. This guy Stephen Sullivan is an absolute specimen — just look at his arm length and wingspan, they’re miles longer than any other position player. In fact, they’re also longer than every guard and center, and they’re longer than every tackle except Alex Taylor and Matt Peart.

It’s not like arm length and wingspan are really keystone measurements for TEs or anything, but it gives him a unique physical ability to excel in both blocking and catch radius that other players simply could never have. Add that to the speed and athleticism he’s expected to showcase as a former WR, and I think he’s going to make a lot of money this week. There’s a lot to dream on with him.

Months back when I was doing mock drafts and wanted to select M Becton LT/LOUISVILLE with our 3rd rd Pick. Now there’s talk he could be the first Tackle taken in the draft. Unbelievable how he shot up the boards. What a mountain of a man with measurables 6’7-1/2“ 364 lbs

Talk about a side of beef! No chance getting him now. Don’t want to see him on the Giants.

Missouri TE running a 4.49 at 258lbs.

4th fastest for a TE since 2003. And hes bigger than those ahead.

Know theres some Pinkney fans out there. I thought he had potential. But 5.00 40. He is SLOW getting up to speed.

Pinkney Reminds me too much of sprinkle I’ll pass. Albert O was blazing!

i haven’t seen Thad Moss

Moss was discovered to have a hairline fracture in his foot that nobody was aware off until the combine medicals. He didnt find out till today. Needs surgery. He said he will work the LSU proday on April 3rd. But the announcement of surgery says he will be out of action 6-8 weeks.

And 95% of these TEs arnt any better than Sprinkle. The ND and maybe Dayton kid might end up starting somewhere. But O and Sullivan are the only ones that really look like they have fluent movement.

Give me production over a player looking good in his underwear every day and twice on Sunday

Bryce Hopkins from Purdue will be a good TE too, he has fluid movement but I do agree that people overhype draft prospects saying they’re surely going to be better than - to use your example Speinkle - and usually that’s not true. Sprinkle is a good blocker and yes, he dropped a few passes he should have caught but we need to remember it was his first year as a starter too.

He’ll probably be our #2 TE  next year if we sign a starting level TE even if we draft someone in the mid rounds.

Claypool ran a 4.42 in the 40 at 238! I’m pretty much sold that if he’s there in the 3rd I want him learning to block right away and gain another 7-10 pounds.

Could be the next big thing at TE if he’s up for the switch. If not then we still get a huge big bodied WR that can run
