That's funny. 35 minutes ago, jetskid007 said: You have a compelling point with Arians, but it's not like he's some great coach either. Arians is a veteran QB-friendly coach with simple yet creative scheming that caters to the passing game. With weapons already in place, a respected track record, and flexibility to not only accommodate but embrace everything "Tom Brady", I don't see how the Buccaneers aren't the clear-cut favorite over the Chargers. Lynn is a less experienced, defensive-oriented head coach with a history of losing to Brady in embarrassing fashion repeatedly. The Buccaneers have less injury concerns at their skill positions, a solidified offensive line, opponents that play home games in a dome environment where Brady usually excels, one of the highest amounts of cap space to use, and a defense that emerged as one of the tops in the NFL a season ago and is poised to stay relevant with a young core in the front seven. DoleINGout
It is happening. Good for everyone involved.
DannyB
If Brady tucks tail and goes back to the Patriots it would be like the biggest cop-out letdown in history.
BayRaider
Brady Watch has been quiet today. But for the first time all off season, a team other than New England is favored to sign him: Tampa Bay. Bradys arm is still there. Imagine him with Arians, Mike Evans, and Godwin? Wow. Bucs finished 7-9 last year with Winston throwing 30 INTs... They will have to get Brady an OT though. Perhaps a trade up to acquire one of the Big Four.

Matt would suggest paying Dak 42M per before calling him a “d***” for not signing.

It makes very little..."outside consideration" sense (i.e., how Brady wants to progress with his post-football career, his lifestyle, G's lifestyle, etc). But, they may make him a tempting enough offer that he goes there (not only with the weapons available, but with the amount of say/control with how things are run there).

People have overrated the brand and Giselle factor. Tom wants to win football games. End of story imo.

I think it's a HUGE factor. And I don't think JUST winning football games is Tom Brady's singular, head-and-shoulders above everything else, priority anymore.
