Longsnappers are nearly people too!

Mannely spoiled us for years and admittedly I took it for granted. When he retired, we saw the effects of it. For those 2-3 years it was a disaster rollercoaster and that made me appreciate Mannelly and the LS position that much more. Luckily, Scales has worked out for us and he has been as solid as you can expect.

Whoever replaces Scales had be better be the first LS player available with the first name Patrick.

Honestly why only one year? I don't remember a poor snap from him and its not like you can really improve from that.

I was thinking the same thing. Unless they still have injury concerns and/or he requested a 1 yr deal and they're just honoring it.

He getting old now isn't he?

Meh, he's only 32. He probably has at least another 3 years of good play in him. Practices might suck but he spends little time on the field during game day so it's not like his body is taking too much of beating.
