Oh no. Now Lamar is a trump fan? You clevelanders are going to lose your ever loving minds....

Tbh I don’t speak lingo well enough to know if he is saying something good or bad about Trump. I will take your word for it being an endorsement.

It’s whatever. I would hope no matter who is president, people would be hoping for our country’s success and for good leadership at the capital during these times especially. Sadly this is not always the case.

If nothing else this is a good thing for Cleveland. Baltimore hates them some Trump but loves Lamar Jackson. We can work with this...

The common denominator in the Ravens success is amazing FO and great coaching staff. Its not just Lamar. Coaching staff has put lamer in the best position to win in the regular season. Decosta has built that team around lamer's running ability. Lets not act like Jackson just took a bottom-dweller team and turned them into a perennial playoff team

I'm not saying the Ravens were a bottom dweller I am saying they were 4-5 with one of the worse ground games in the league pre Lamar.. The coaching staff does deserve a ton of credit for constructing an offense built around Lamar but there wasn't such an offense when he took over in 2018.

Listen it's undeniable that Lamar and his talents is what changed everything.. The coaching staff and players (with a few exceptions)  were the same ones that were here on the Flacco led going nowhere fast Ravens.

Its a testament how far and quickly Flacco dropped off. He needed to be moved on from. I think a lot of QBs could have lifted that team up. Its not like Lamar was the only reason possible for it.

Good grief.. Yeah I'm sure any rookie quarterback could have taken the 27th ranked rushing attack and turned it to the best overnight.. Is it that hard just to acknowledge that Lamar is a great player? The guy was the unanimous MVP of the league!!

Well judging by the results of these polls it seems that penetrating a Browns bias as deep as this will be tough..

90% of the forum: Lamar had a great year and deserved the MVP. I don’t think rushing through ball as much as he does is sustainable (cites all of NFL History with various examples)

Ravens troll in our forum, fresh username off of a ban: You guys are biased!

If you go through who has voted for Lamar I believe it’s you and me. Go early on in the Thread and see I was the only one to say Lamar as he is the only that has shown any worth.

Yeah Lamar transformed the ravens rushing attack but another QB could have helped the rushing attack and passing attack. We have seen 2 years in a row lack of legit passing ability got abused in the playoffs.

also why did the ravens have such a bad rushing attack? Oh that’s right they had no threat at QB with Flacco. You upgrade Flacco to any average to above avg. QB that year the offense was going to get better.

right now you’re acting like Lamar is a plug and play QB that no matter what team he was on he would be successful. He doesn’t deserves all the credit like Your saying and the coaches and FO prolly deserve more praise. Ain’t nothing wrong with that

Lamar is definitely the reason the rushing attack turned around, he averaged 80 yards a game.

It’s also the reason many of us are skeptical as to how good he’ll be in 5 years, which is what we’re discussing in this thread.  As many of us have said, it’s historically not been sustainable.  That’s not a biased opinion, simply fact.  Most running QB’s don’t hold up well long term.

"Lack of legit passing ability"? The guy led the league with 36 touchdowns compared to 6 interceptions in 14 games.. Also Lamars passing ability wasn’t even close to the Ravens problem in that playoff loss.. It was a total team failure offensively and defensively,  Lamar actually made some great throws in that game that weren't hauled in by his receivers,  there were a ton of drops in that game.

I'm not sure you watch enough of the Ravens if you think Lamar can't throw the football,  he was light years more accurate than Baker was last year..

None of us know what will happen in the future so if you are skeptical of his ability to stay healthy that's fair.. As a Ravens fan I'm just going to enjoy the ride however long it lasts rather than waiting for the other shoe to drop..

This entire thread premise is on projection into the future, so next time when you wander in, please take the time to read the thread title, OP, and context.
