The team is going to stink to high heavens anyway if all we're doing is falling behind on the treadmill this year. Wait, see what projects at those positions might fall into your lap later, and grab some dynamic talent elsewhere where the draft looked stacked instead probably. At least make it more interesting to watch the team suck for another year. Henderson has all the tools to be an elite man corner. He's not some guy that didn't show anything in college. He shut down guys and was one of the best in man coverage in a loaded conference. Taking an OL who has questions on moving to LT/risk is better? A DT with motor/injury issues like Kinlaw? Too each their own. I like the pick though. Guess we'll see. He has work that needs to be done but the upside is there to be so good. Didn't think Terrell was as big a reach after those two as Henderson was at 9 tbh. Arnette though...uh...that one takes the cake. Just feels like a lot of teams are missing the boat on the reality that unless you're getting like a Top-5CB in the league, it's not really where the smart money gets spent. So much scheme specificity, up and down years, inconsistent production. And at the end of the day, still really at the mercy of whether the defensive front can apply pressure to keep the timeline feasible for coverage.
