.Buzz
I want Lawrence as much as the next guy but it's a good point. QBs that we look back on that we should've taken all were selected outside the top 10 (and the other two here outside the top 5).
Chops013
How would we feel if we end up picking outside the top 5 and pair Dan Mullen with Dak Prescott? Then we go Kyle Pitts and Jaylen Twyman with our 1st rounders.

Dak probably is going to get $30M+ on the open market too (that's if the Cowboys dont retain him and I feel like they will). Probably prefer a guy like Bienimy or another hot coordinator and looking at a guy like Lance myself.
.Buzz
Has a good thread on Fields here. He had a similar one with Lance. If you're interested in getting some analysis of these potential QBs I'd suggest looking through them. Probably my two favorite clips on Fields so far from it. .Buzz
The question becomes, if we end up at #3/#4 and Lawrence/Fields are gone. Do you pass up on a generational talent in Sewell if he's sitting there and take Lance/QB prospect?

Although I agree, why would the Jets or Washington (if that's the two teams, which I suspect) trade down when they need a QB just as much, if not more, than us? I just don't see it. If NYG lands at #2 then maybe, but Jones has big questions himself.
