I mean, I guess Whicker could have decided that Malf was already roleblocked so Matts couldn't also roleblock him, but Matts is claiming that his ability also protects his target. I guess Whicker could decide that Matts failed because Dome already roleblocked him, but I don't see any reason Matts' protection wouldn't have overridden Dome's block.
