General Mafia Rules

All moves must be PM'd to me by the player responsible for the move. I will NOT accept moves any other way. You may send me a list of prioritzed targets if you will not be around and aren't sure who will still be in the game.
I will not accept any votes if they aren't bolded. It must also be your own post. Votes must not be hidden (ie white text).
Stay active. You must vote every day. Failure to do this twice will result in your death.
My post will officially start night. Any votes after my post will not count. Any votes prior will. Talking is allowed at night.
You may edit posts. Do not edit votes.
Once you die, you are allowed one post. You may not post anything game related.
Players cannot communicate with one another through any medium other than this thread, unless I specifically say they can. No exceptions.
In the event of a tie, there will be a 10 minute runoff between the tied players. Any ties after the OT period will result in no lynch.
Don't post PMs or screenshots of PMs. No exceptions. If you aren't sure of what is allowed, PM me. Failure to comply will result in your death.
I reserve the right to change/add rules at any time I see fit. You will be notified if this happens.

The five Chosen Undead stood side by side and stared down the horrifying demon that stood in their way. The five of them had been miraculously rescued from their cells in the Undead Aslyum just moments before, and now they stood together, their fates intertwined. Pwny was their final obstacle on their road to escape. The battle between them had been an exhausting one. Pwny had been plenty battered, but he retained his resolve. He launched forward one more time, his great hammer primed for a huge swing. The Chosen Undead all simultaneously rolled away, one of them following up with a quick thrust of his sword into pwny's belly. Pwny groaned loudly before falling to the ground, finally defeated.

The Chosen Undead have received the Key to the Asylum!

The Chosen Undead used the Key to the Asylum on the giant door in front of them and pushed it open. It opened into a wide cliff with nothing but mountains in the distance. They briefly took in their surroundings as the Sun's rays graced them for the first time in ages.

One of them spotted Woz at the top of the cliff. They scaled to the top and knelt beside him. Unbeknownst to them, Woz had been the one to set them free just not long before, but he had been gravely injured in his fight with pwny during his escape. Long determined to fulfill a prophecy from his homeland of Astora, Woz had come to the Asylum after he himself had been afflicted with the Curse of the Undead, hoping to set the Chosen One free. “I'm done for, I'm afraid...” he said, reaching out to the group with his last breath. “Regrettably, I have failed in my mission... But perhaps you can keep the torch lit. There is an old saying in my family... Thou who art Undead, art chosen... In thine exodus from the Undead Asylum, maketh pilgrimage to the land of Ancient Lords... When thou bringeth the Lord Souls, the fate of the Undead thou shalt know...” Woz's body began to relax and his breathing began to fade.

All of a sudden, a giant crow appeared over the cliff and grabbed the Chosen Undead.

A melancholy tone came over the Chosen Undead as the crow dropped them down. They all took a second and looked at each other, slightly confused. There seemed to be nothing but emptiness here. It was eerily quiet as well, with the only sound coming from the crackling of the flames from the bonfire. It certainly didn't feel at all heroic, but this was their new safe haven. The five of them all sat around the bonfire, unsure of what was to come.

“Well, what do we have here? You must be new arrivals,” The voice startled them. A short man approached the fire and sat beside the Chosen Undead, revealing himself to be Whicker, the Crestfallen Warrior (Chosen Undead aligned). “Let me guess. Fate of the Undead, right? Well, you're not the first...” his voice trailed off as he paused, staring deep into the fire. “There's no salvation here,” he finally continued. “You'd have done better to rot in the Undead Asylum... But, too late now...” He paused once again and closed his eyes, remembering his own “adventures” in Lordran.

“Well, since you're here... Let me help you out. There are, actually, four Lord Souls for you to collect. One, I know, is down below, in the Tomb of the Giants, held by Gravelord Nito (Dark Souls Boss aligned). The others? Well, I just don't know. But collect all four, and you win the game... Brilliant, right? Not much to go on, but I have a feeling that won't stop you. So, off you go. It is why you came, isn't it? To this accursed land of the Undead? Hah hah hah hah...”

It had been a long but fairly uneventful day for the Chosen Undead. They continued to huddle to around the bonfire at Firelink Shrine, apparently waiting for something to come to them. Eventually, one of them stood and slung his ultra greatsword over his shoulder. Silent, he looked at the group, and they all nodded in agreement. To began, they just headed straight out of Firelink Shrine, into a graveyard. From the graveyard they descended into the Catacombs.

After slogging their way through numerous skeletons and the necromancers that kept reviving them, they found a doorway blocked by a white fog. Confused, they stepped through together. In front of them was a massive stone structure, made to look like a coffin. They dropped down to find Rackcs.

Rackcs began the battle with a fireball attack

The Chosen Undead rolled away, easily dodging the fire.

Rackcs then created clones of himself

but they were no match for the multiple heroes in his lair.

In a last desperate attempt, Rackcs used his last strength to launch a powerful flamethrower at the Chosen Undead

But it was once again too telegraphed, and our heroes were able to dodge the flame, and thrust a sword deep into Rackcs, finishing him

The Chosen Undead have received the Rite of Kindling!

With the Catacombs area boss clear and the Rite of Kindling obtained, the Chosen Undead made their way back up to the graveyard. Heading across it, they took an elevator up to the Undead Church. Fighting their way through the many Hollow Balder Knights that blocked their way, the Chosen Undead finally found the ladder to the roof.

It was Squire who jumped down onto them from the rooftops, long dormant from lack of challengers. After gaining his footing, he jumped at the Chosen Undead, swinging his massive halberd at them

He followed up with another big swing, this time an overhead one.

But the Chosen Undead were able to block the attacks. They staggered backwards from the blows, but they were otherwise unharmed.

Squire was relentless however, and he took flight once again, using his massive tail axe this time.

But the Chosen Undead had all brought sturdy greatshields, and they continued to block Squire's attacks.

Squire was growing frustrated at his inability to damage his opponents. He took in a deep breath, and began to spray fire.

Unfortunately, this was just the opening that the Chosen Undead needed, as Squire was left trying to recover from expending such stamina. The Chosen Undead moved to surround him, and they made quick work of him from the flanks.

After their defeat of Squire on the roof of the Undead Church, the Chosen Undead decided to take a short break and rest at a bonfire. They were feeling good about their journey – none of the bosses had given them any challenge yet – and they had yet to lose any of their own.

One of them stood and gestured towards the large lake near their bonfire. They turned and looked to see something that none of them could identify. It was shaped like a small vertical hole floating in space – something that simply shouldn't belong. They moved to examine it, when they were all of a sudden pulled into an alternate time.

They walked forward a bit only to be interrupted by Malfatron, a once great hero now corrupted by the Abyss and his dedicated to protect everyone from it.

Malfatron opened with a powerful leaping attack, catching the Chosen Undead off guard as he closed the gap between them immediately

One of them was caught in the blow and staggered around. Malf then turned towards another, doing a somersault attack on them

At this moment the Chosen Undead knew they weren't in for a fight like they had been used to. They struggled on, blocking attacks, dodging, and desperately looking for an opening on this powerful warrior. They backed away, hoping to get some space, but Malf charged at them, closing the gap once again, to their surprise

Following up with a spinning slash, it looked like Malf might overcome the Chosen Undead

Malf then began charging a big move as darkness surrounded him. He was going to finish them off.

Unfortunately he made one final mistake, as he had disregarded those that he knocked down at the beginning. One of them stood at his back, and finished him off.

The all looked around. After a tough fight, they had luckily all survived.

Mission stood at the bridge of the Undead Burg. A large, hairy bull-like creature lay dead on it, but it was otherwise empty. He crossed slowly, his shield raised the entire time. Surely something was just around the corner.

He proceeded into the tower that connected the bridge on the far side. The tower was also empty, with only a few crates and barrels strewn about. The only way forward was a small staircase that descended further into the tower. As he made his way down, he began to hear the familiar groans on Hollows. They were faint, however, and there still seemed to be no immediate threat.

He could see the faint glow of a bonfire on the other side, guarded by several Hollows who wandered aimlessly about. His trusty bow and arrows had gotten him through the area so far, and he decided he was going to rely on it once more. He crept forward, staying out of range of detection. He pulled back the drawstring and carefully lined up a shot.

A loud screech and the flapping of wings interrupted his shot. He swung his head around, startled. A red drake appeared over the tower before him. Before Mission could even react, he was doused in fire.

After their defeat of Malfatron, found themselves back in their old time in front of Sen's Fortress, a known proving grounds for travelers wanting to find Anor Londo and the gods. Weaving their way through the many traps and Lizard Men that resided within the Fortress, the found themselves at the top. Daboyle was there, waiting for them. He had long been the final test in these proving grounds, and he had already slain many brave warriors who attempted to overcome it.

As soon as the Chosen Undead entered, Daboyle swiped his hammer in the air, creating a blade of wind that flew towards them.

It struck one of them hard, and he staggered backwards. The others ran up to Daboyle, starting to poke at his ankles.

Daboyle grabbed one of them, slamming him to the ground

But the remainder of the Chosen Undead were still poking away at him. Desperate to get them away, Daboyle swung his axe furiously

But his motion was overall too slow, and he was unable to connect with any of them. He was soon defeated.

Rackcs ran up the staircase in Anor Londo. He could hear a couple of loud thuds in the distance, but he couldn't quite make out what they were. He continued to climb, reaching another staircase. All of a sudden, a massive arrow came and struck Rackcs in the side. He fell off the staircase to his death.

After their defeat of Daboyle, a well-known test of strength, the Chosen Undead decided it was time to face a very strong opponent: the Abyss. They dropped down into the darkness to find a truly fearsome beast: Mega Ron

Mega Ron started off fast, swinging his arms around rapidly.

He caused the Chosen Undead to scatter, and they realized that they were not facing any ordinary threat.

They continued to strafe around him, looking for an opening. Unsuccessful, they backed away. Mega Ron showed them that he's a multidimensional threat with a fury of dark magic.

These dark orbs caught Rackcs, causing him to fall over dead. Rackcs stood, screamed, and tossed his controller into the wall, breaking it into pieces.

The rest of the Chosen Undead carried on, swiping away at Mega Ron's backside. They thought they were safe for a second, but Mega Ron responded.

They dodged his attack and continued to poke away at him. Mega Ron could feel himself beginning to tire as he brought down a big overhead smash.

After his attack, he rested for a brief moment. This was all the opening the Chosen Undead needed to finish off Mega Ron

Ragnarok descended into the Depths alone. The Chosen Undead needed to acquire those powerful souls to satiate the Lordvessel, and he was determined to brute force his way into the Demon Ruins and Lost Izalith to find one. He fought his way through several rats and hollows before running into a strange lizard-like creature with what appeared to be huge beady yellow eyes.

The lizard leaped towards him, puffing up its throat with air like a bullfrog. It released a gray cloud of gas at Ragnarok. Ragnarok began coughing and panicking, causing him to roll around aimlessly, trying to get away. He soon found himself in an unknown room, surrounded by those basilisks. They all gassed Ragnarok, and he was soon turned to stone, a cursed reminder for all those who follow.

The Chosen Undead were wandering aimlessly through the Royal Wood, trying to find their way. It seemed as though they were lost until they came across a narrow bridge that they hadn't seen before. On the way across it, JoshstraDaymus flew down to greet them. He stared at them deeply with his single red eye before flying off. The Chosen Undead knew they were going to have to defeat this dragon to continue, and they followed him to a large basin area.

Josh began with his dark flame breath, trying to keep the Chosen Undead from approaching him

Ragnarok was caught in the flame and was staggered as he tried to get away. Josh then lurched forward at him to finish him off

Ragnarok stared at his screen in disbelief. How did he get to be so bad?! He shut off his console for the last time.

Josh continued to hound the Chosen Undead with his flame, escaping quickly after finishing off Ragnarok

The remaining Chosen Undead continued to roll around furiously, somehow managing to steer clear of the flame.

Josh, concerned at his inability to connect with his flame, rose up, dousing the arena

But when he landed, the Chosen Undead were still there, unscathed. Josh was now exhausted, and the Chosen Undead were soon able to finish him off.

Quote

Forge made his way down to the Tomb of the Giants. He remembered that strange fellow in Firelink Shrine told him that something was important down here, and he was determined to find out what it was. He made his way past the catacombs where they had first defeated Rackcs, and he continued on forward. Eventually, he found himself in a place of near complete darkness. Only a few brightly colored stones emitted the faintest of light.

He followed the stones further and further into the tomb. He could barely see a foot in front of himself, but the stones seemed to mark the path. He listened intently, but there were no sounds to be heard other than those of his own footsteps and breathing. He took a few more steps forward, his shield raised the entire time.

Soon, the path stopped and Forge's only way forward was a slide down a conspicuously placed tomb. He slid down it, only to be ambushed by a giant skeleton wielding a massive greatsword. Forge dodged the attack, only to hear the rattling of more bones behind him. He panicked and rolled away again and again. He had no idea where he was going, and he soon found himself falling to his death off a giant cliff.

The remaining Chosen Undead had heard about the sad demise of Ragnarok down in the Depths, and they followed his trail down to pay their respects. After slaying the basilisks that did him in, they paid respects to his now stone remains. Promising to clear the Depths to avenge him, they continued deeper and deeper into the sewers, now fending off giant rats and more basilisks.

They finally reached the end of the Depths. There sat Bcb, sitting so innocent and unassuming before crawling out to reveal his true size.

Little did they know, despite being an early game boss, the had accidentally unlocked the NG+ version of Bcb, and he was going to prove especially detrimental to their journey.

Like many other bosses, Bcb opened with a jump attack to close the gap.

He followed up by slamming his twisted body onto the ground.

The Chosen Undead tried to keep their distance and strafe around, getting in hits when they could.

He then reared back up and grabbed Forge, quickly making him into a snack

The rest continued to poke away at Bcb's tail. Eventually Bcb was weakened, and he vomited a corrosive acid on the floor as a last gasp.

But this was a little too slow moving, and the Chosen Undead finished off Bcb.

The Chosen Undead then made their way to Anor Londo. Surely the City of the Gods will have a Lord Soul available to them. They climbed their way up the stairs clearly meant for giants before reaching a strange elevator mechanism. They pushed the crank and the elevator twisted itself into motion and revealed a staircase. Going downstairs, they ran into the last remaining deity in Anor Londo, Dome.

Dome stood far away from the Chosen Undead, shooting his magic at them.

As they moved closer towards him, he would teleport down what seemed to be an endless hallway. Dome continued to unleash his magic,

The Chosen Undead kept approaching him, and soon Dome moved to his magical bow and arrows.

And he kept teleporting away whenever the Chosen Undead approached.

Unfortunately for Dome, these were the only moves in his arsenal, and soon the Chosen Undead were acutely aware of his tactics. They were able to bring him down.

After defeated Dome, the Chosen Undead stayed in Anor Londo. Experimenting more with the strange elevator that took them to Dome, the Chosen Undead discovered another room. It was a massive, nearly empty room with only a crashed chandelier in the middle and a large painting hung on the back wall. They approached the painting, only to experience a strange magical power. Soon, they found themselves in the Painted World of Ariamis.

The Chosen Undead fought their way through the many toxic beasts that ravaged the land. They soon came across Matts, who stood alone, holding his scythe.

“Who art thou?” Matts asked the Chosen Undead, clearly non-aggressive. “One of us, thou art not. If thou has misstepped into this world, plunge down from the plank, and hurry home. If thou seekest I, thine desires shall be requited not.”

The Chosen Undead looked at Matts, confused. They waited until Matts spoke again. “Thou must returneth whence thou came. This land peaceful, its inhabitants kind, but thou does not belong. I beg of thee, plunge down from the plank, and hurry home.”

Still unknowing what to do, the Chosen Undead launched an attack at Matts. “I expected as much from thee. Why dost thee hurry toward thine death?” He then used his magic to disappear from view.

Unfortunately, Matts left footprints in the snow, and the Chosen Undead were able to identify his location.

Now knowing his concealment magic wouldn't work, Matts tried to go offensive with it.

But it was just too slow to pose any threat. Now desperate, Matts turned to swinging his scythe.

But he still remained too slow, and the Chosen Undead were able to make quick work of him.

The Chosen Undead have received the Soul of Priscilla!

After defeating Matts, the Chosen Undead were forced out of the Painted World and back into Anor Londo. From there, they decided it was finally time to take on one of their biggest threats. It was time to take on the mother of demons herself. They descended down into Blighttown and then further into the Demon Ruins. From there, they found themselves in the Lost City of Izalith.

Fighting their way through the many demons, pyromancers, and lava traps that filled the city, the Chosen Undead finally came upon Tk3

An unfortunate, twisted representation of the Witch and two of her daughters, Tk3 was bound to the ground, only able to muster a few moves.

As the Chosen Undead realized they couldn't harm Tk3 normally, however, they soon came up with a plan. They noticed the two glowing orbs on each side of him. They moved to each one, breaking the branches that held them to Tk3.

Tk3 then seemed to grow stronger, able to use fire attacks.

Unfortunately, the Chosen Undead soon found their way through the maze of Tk3's branches, and they found the true Tk3, now a small insect that controlled the large abomination. They crushed the small thing, ending Tk3 for good.

The Chosen Undead were heading back to Firelink Shrine after their defeat of Tk3 in the Lost City of Izalith. They made their way through the Demon Ruins and found themselves in an unknown area covered in spider webbing. There was an orange message on the ground. “Amazing chest ahead,” it said, and the Chosen Undead hurried forward, ready to find whatever great loot lay ahead for them. Unfortunately, they had entered swoosh's domain. As soon as they saw swoosh, they now knew what that message was warning them about.

swoosh was determined for vengeance on those who killed his mother. He began by using his mount to create pools of lava in the arena, cutting off some of it.

swoosh then approached the Chosen Undead, furiously swinging his sword, leaving a trail of fire and chaos in its wake.

However, swoosh was too consistent in his swings, and they were easily dodged. swoosh then tried to stomp at the Chosen Undead, who were now crowding him

Once again, the move was easily dodged. swoosh then charged up for his ultimate attack, embracing his parasite in the process.

But like many big attacks, this had a long recovery time, and the Chosen Undead were able to kill swoosh

After a brief rest at Firelink Shrine, the Chosen Undead proceeded to the Darkroot Garden. There, they were told, they would find the key to enter into the Abyss in New Londo Ruins. They fought their way through the many stone guardians and treefolk that roamed the area and found the grave of a legendary knight. His sword was stuck into the ground in front of a large tombstone, and the Chosen Undead approached it.

It was MD4L that stood in their way. He knew what the Abyss was like - he had seen it first hand - and he was not going to allow anyone to traverse it. He took his sword and dashed at the Chosen Undead

He then spun around, swinging his sword

But these were just normal swings of the sword, and the Chosen Undead were able to block them. The Chosen Undead continued to poke at MD4L's feet, and he jumped away.

Unfortunately for MD4L, the Chosen Undead were very powerful at this point, and his limited moves with his sword were no match for them. MD4L tried one last big combo.

However, he was once again blocked, and he was soon finished.
