Honestly if he keeps forcing turnovers at this rate, he’s got to be in the DPOY conversation. Great coverage both on the boundary and in the slot, elite run defense, and elite turnover ability? He keeps this up and the hype train will start rolling soon.

Another TO forced (another TD off of it at that) and a sack added. He's starting to pepper the stat sheet in a way that voters love for DPotY.

He’s definitely got the hype train rolling some now, love to see it.

Now he just needs Myles Garrett to let up some as the NFL seems to get their heart on for pass rushers. DB’s usually need sick INT#s to be elevated. That won’t be Marlon necessarily. Though if he can get something like 5 interceptions and keep forcing fumbles to this same degree, that could do it. Otherwise he’ll probably be valued less than MGs sacks unfortunately.

I don’t know if he needs the huge INT numbers if hes all over the place elsewhere. Like, If he has something in the neighborhood of 3 INT, 3 sacks, 6 FF, and a bunch of highlight tackles he’ll have the narrative of contributing all over the field.

Oh I don’t disagree. But I also know how much the NFL and lazy fans get off on sacks. If Garrett continues on this pace and puts up 19 sacks with similar FFs, the NFL at large isn’t going to care that Humphrey is providing the same impact in a different way. All they’ll remember is he gave up a couple TDs on the season, so Garrett should win because OMGZ look at all those sacks.

That said, I find Humphrey’s ability to force fumbles more sustainable than Garrett’s. As he’s creating them by virtue of the guys he’s covering, other receivers, runners going past the LOS, etc... while Garrett is getting them from blindside sacks. Even with Vernon on the other side, teams will eventually start triple teaming Garrett to slow him down and mess with his timing... which in theory should slow down his FF pace some.

Though I could be wrong. Either way, seems likely that the DPOY will come from the AFCN with Garrett, Watt, and Humphrey all in the conversation... with Aaron Donald still being the front runner after that game against WFT.

-Some recent videos from a new Ravens Film review channel. Edgar doesn't seem to be active during this season(hope all is well with him), but this content could help fill that void for you.

We have the best passing punter in the history of the game (He actually takes his second read on one of the throws/look away the centerfielder)

And then a basic breakdown of the lack of deep completions from Lamar (it is a little bit of everything going wrong)

On That first play sequence for Elliot, Queen has an easy TFL in the backfield if McPhee isn’t trying to be greedy and just handles his responsibility. If he contains the edge, Queen cleans up. Instead, McPhee peaks inside and then gives up the edge and then further complicates matters by lacking awareness as he impedes Queens pursuit angle that would’ve likely led to a solo for a 3 yard gain vs the big gain result of that play. McPhee’s diving tackle attempt had no shot against that speed.
