People seized on the roleblock as the most likely explanation, and certain people started eagerly down that path. You can re-read the phase transition up to Blue’s claim. Ask yourself if they’re overzealous Town who omitted other possibilities in error; or if they showed their hand with knowledge that the hit failed for other reasons and no scum were blocked, and hoped to salvage the situation by getting a roleblocked Town lynched / outing the Town roleblock. Matts seemed keen to get to the bottom of that situation, and has not seemed genuine so far, so that’s where I’m at.
