bigbadbuff
Deadline tomorrow at 4pm... any rumors on big names? Tre White openly said he might opt out
Soko
Devin McCourty might, Hightower already has. I’d be surprised if any of the real superstars did, or any of the starting QBs.

JAF-N72EX
In all serious, I think most players have already made their decision by now so I don't expect a large number of players to opt-out this late.
Hunter2_1
That's it now, I reckon. So, Dont'a Hightower - the superbowl guarantor, is the biggest name probably.
ET80
I think Nate Soldier might be up there. I could see Matt Stafford choosing to opt out after his scare. With his wife and newborn, it could get really bad if he gets exposed.
Shanedorf
Could a dozen marquee players opt out - and put an end to the season ? It's possible given the pimp -the- big- stars model that the NFL deploys Ref's opting out/getting sick is another a significant concern for the integrity of the product - we've already seen what happens with Tier 3 reffing. With the recent retirements of the silverbacks like Steratore, Hochuli and Walt Anderson - the NFL doesn't have a deep bench of talented Refs to lean on.

Well yea because of terrible scouting and drafting by Roger Goddell.
