Iamcanadian Posted October 2, 2017 Share Posted October 2, 2017 It is quite normal for a rookie QB to start in his 7th or 8th game even if he was a high pick. It gives him time to adjust to the speed of the pro game and work on his techniques before being thrown to the wolves. If I was a Chicago fan, I would only worry if he does not start game 7 or 8, because if he doesn't, it is usually a solid sign, he may well be a flop.
