I think Jed has played his last down at left tackle. He is tradable - only having a $14M contract for 2024. The only way I see Jed on this roster next year is if they flip flop tackles and put Dawand at LT. NOT my ideal situation. I would prefer to draft a LT (Patrick Paul of Houston), end the James Hudson experiment and make Jed your swing tackle. Even if we do manage to trade Jed we still have two starting caliber tackles. Not saying we shouldn’t draft one, we should, but unless they’re BPA I see no reason to reach for one.
LETSGOBROWNIES
With our first pick not coming until the second half of R2 I don’t think we can be too concerned with positions. Just find good players, we need them everywhere.

He turned Joe Flacco into a top 10 QB. I am beyond confident he can do the same with me and you.

NateDawg
There are enough guys that can step in and be effective that I am typically comfortable almost every year taking a running back in like the fourth round. Somebody in that round is going to have some sort of niche that typically is going to help your offense in some way.

There’s gonna be somebody there with some upside.
BetterCallSaul
Prospects I would love us to consider: RB: Trey Benson (r3) Will Shipley (r4) Frank Gore Jr. (r7) FB/H: Brant Kuithe (r7) WR: Xavier Worthy (r2) Xavier Leggette (r2) Keon Coleman (r2) Devontez Walker (r3) Ainias Smith (r6) TE: Ja’Tavion Sanders (r2) Mitchell Evans (r3) OL: Graham Barton (r2) Zak Zinter (r3) Jack Nelson (r5) Zion Nelson (r7) Matt Lee (r7) DE: JT Tuimolau (r2) DT: Brandon Dorlus (r2) Kris Jenkins (r2) Leonard Taylor (r2) Tyler Davis (r4) LB: Cedric Gray (r3) Payton Wilson (r4) CB: Max Melton (r3) Tony Grimes (r7) S: James Williams (r3) *this is the extent of the guys I like in the draft. Not much. Plus some of the names are stretches (K. Coleman, Tuimolau)
brownie man
My gut still says WR first pick we gotta have someone developing behind Amari. I like Tillman going forward that’s one outside starter. But you still need that guy for if anything were to happen to Amari.

And Kris Jenkins can’t be a real person who’s dad has the same name and played in the league because if that’s true I’m almost not young.

I mean we have spent 2 top-100 picks on WRs each of the past two years and seemingly don't integrate either of them into the offensive game plan. I personally don't see them doing it a 3rd year but who knows. If there is any skill position I would like to see them go after it is RB. Even when Chubb comes back, if he doesn't look the same you need another threat. Ford has been average at best and seems to avoid contact any chance he gets. That dude out of Wiscansin would be nice Edited December 27, 2023 by AkronsWitness

So yes, you’re no longer young. Another fun fact is that Marvin Harrison’s kid is draft eligible this year too! This kid is also a beast…in a difficult frame. He’s compactly built, arguably over 300 pounds, but strong and explosive like very few NFL players are.
