Airplane!

Def top ten pure comedies of all time

No matter how many times I go back to it, I’m shocked at how sharp it is. The jokes still work today.

Noticed the Indiana Jones movies were on Disney+, decided to watch through them all.. I had seen bits and pieces of a couple but never the whole film.

I was surprised by how bad Raiders was, yet still very enjoyable and kept me wanting more. Temple of Doom is wild and I would love it a lot more if Willie wasn't so annoying, but that's kind of the point of her character I suppose.  I definitely fast forwarded through the loooiobg opening song and dance number.. odd choice

Temple of Doom is my favorite

Raiders is interestingly my least favorite, although all 3 and only 3 indiana jones movies are good in my book

Interestingly enough, i accidentally followed it up with another top ten all time comedy, the weird al biopic.

No sarcasm here its that good

I need to see that.  Radcliffe tends to pick good projects and I loved Weird Al growing up.

I'm seeing it through the eyes of an adult who always just heard about how great these are.. feels similar to how I feel about a movie like Spaceballs- I think it's great, but I also watched it 50 times as a kid. Any random 33 year old who watches it for the first time would probably think it's hot garbage.

Temple of Doom definitely has some cringe-y moments (parachute raft, the constantbad ADR for Willie) but for it I knew what kind of vibe to expect going in, a campy/fun adventure flick. Going to watch Last Crusade and Crystal Skull today and tomorrow ❤️
