He's calling pitches that are missing the plate all night then doesn't call that. Unbelievable. I'll give you that. Normally a borderline pitch but his zone has been absurdly wide all night and just generally ****ty.
Kmart128
Why on earth would Urshela look towards 2nd. Just throw to first and end the inning... that glance over there threw him all off. What an idiot... its not like he needed a double play
NateDawg
Well, our defensive “wizard” 3rd baseman has all 5 runs to his credit so far, unearned. If you can’t defend, you have no value, because he has no bat. 5 unearned and counting. Best defensive team all year, best pitching team all year, and towards the top in offense. And this is what we’re seeing when it counts. So frustrating. At this point, they’ve been outplayed all around this series. NYY not the better team but surely better this series so far. Bauer got more than one call off the plate and I remember at least one from Sevy that was pretty out there. That pitch he just called on Gardner was more outside than the one to Frazier. Also it’s just unlucky because Ursh never makes these kinds of mistakes. To many mistakes leading to all unearned runs
NateDawg
Kipnis at 2nd, Ramirez back at 3rd, and Jackson in the OF. May as well. Gio gives them nothing at this point.

Just sucks there other 3b sub they didn’t put on the roster for the series
