That is so true lol. Can’t deny that. I won’t say he is a problem though because it’s not like he is struggling shooting. Defense yes is a problem but it would be problem with Harden just out there too. The thing is just time to see how this team plays out. The team is thin so I want to see who they add to fill the rest of the roster out. Nash need to do a better job with lineups and rotations. No way Harden should’ve been playing in the front court. As soon as I saw that I knew it could go bad.

Another concerning thing is Harris. Another 2-7 night from 3. I don’t care about a big 3 if your “others” aren’t doing it. We think of Allen, Pierce, and KG for the Celtics. Rondo played well. We think of LeBron, Bosh, and Wade of the Heat. Chalmers stepped up and then Allen came over he played well. So like the big 3 for the Nets are going to get theirs. Harris can’t go 2-7 from the 3 and score 8pts. He need to hit his shots or else I’m trading him as soon as I can for a big man who can defend or someone who can be more reliable when called upon.

Joe Harris hitting 3’s is the last thing I’m concerned about. He will be fine. The Nets defense is horrific. Joe Shmo from the Y can get buckets on them. On nights when the shot isn’t there, they are going to lose to some bad teams. They aren’t going anywhere playing D like this.

I get what you are saying about the defense. Nets defense definitely have to get better but they are paying Harris a ton and he can’t go 2-10 one game then the next game go 2-9.

He's shooting 48% from three this season lol. Not worried in the slightest.

i think it was @NYRaiderwho gave him a poor man's klay comparison and i didn't see it when he was younger. but definitely similar roles. tho i'd say jaylen is better at getting to the rim and obvi a lesser shooter.

Never in my life have I compared Jaylen Brown to Klay Thompson. If I ever compared him to anyone coming into the league it was Jimmy Butler. Brown wasn't even a good shooter coming out of college or early in his NBA career and I compared him to arguably the best shooter in the league!?

Jaylen Brown has turned into such a good well rounded player. Sometimes I like him more than Tatum.

Brown and the Celtics are another case showing less can be more in the NBA. Obviously you want to have a lot of talent but you need pieces that fit together. Like the Lakers last season, outside of LeBron/AD, their roster wasn't great. But they had the perfect group of role players that complimented those two. Over the last few seasons in Boston they've had Tatum/Brown/Hayward and Kyrie/Kemba. So Brown was like the 3rd/4th option and just standing in the corner to space the floor a lot of the time. Now that Gordon's gone and Kemba has missed some time he has been able to play on ball more and show his true potential.

Before the season I was having a conversation with one of my buddies who's also a basketball junkie. And he was saying that Utah should trade Gobert instead of extending him. And I said the only trade that I'd really support would be a move to Boston if their package was centered around Brown.

monte is like the best backup PG in the league.

Brunson would like a word sir.

Morris (per 36):

15.9 PPG

53.1% FG

35.3% 3PT

72.4% FT

4.4 AST

Brunson (per 36):

20.2 PPG

50.5% FG

39.4% 3PT

92.3% FT

Morris turnovers per game is the best of his career and Brunson's the worst of his right now though.

LeBron is really the best ambassador for the game of basketball we've ever had.

I think that along w/ being the ultimate catalyst to winning puts him right there with Jordan despite the Finals records.

Speaking of which I hope LeBron goes on to own a team like he talked about in one of his episodes of The Shop. Unlike Michael I think he would do pretty good building a winning team.
