tyler735
Strangely I think this increases our chances to win today. No botched handoffs on RPO's, or interceptions on Taysom Hill plays today. Also means we should see a heavy dose of Kamara today, which is always a good thing.
Canadian Saint
My only issue is Murray might be a loss. Kamara does really well with rest. Also Murray takes the 'establish the run' type runs that gain like 3 yards because the D stacked the box. Keeps Kamara fresher. Wonder if we see Trautman more on offense too. Especially in the RZ. Fray32
I know Hill has this propensity for turning the ball over right now but his absence is still a loss for this team. His designed runs (when he's not fumbling) have come in handy a lot this season. Murray too since he spells Kamara so well. I'm just as curious to see Kamara get a monster workload too but means his efficiency isn't going to be what we're accustomed to
tyler735
I think over the course of a season it's definitely nice to have a guy like Murray to keep Kamara fresh, but for a short term stretch (couple games or so), I think it may be beneficial to let Kamara do his thing as the "workhorse" back and have more potential to break some big plays with more touches. Short game and goalline offense greatly affected.
Jlowe22
QB power with Taysom on first and goal is a guaranteed TD. Big loss IMO.

He's also a key contributor on special teams. This player loss sucks.

Statistically Kamara has been excellent in short yardage situations in his career. Outside of last week late in the game, I can't recall really any times Kamara hasn't converted in short yardage situations. In terms of goalline situations getting into the endzone rush attempts from inside redzone this year: Hill- 28 rushes and 8 touchdowns Kamara- 42 rushes and 15 touchdowns In other words, Kamara gets the job done as we get near the goalline...and doesn't fumble like Hill Edited January 17, 2021 by tyler735
Canadian Saint
So less than an hour left until the game. I hope we all appreciate what is Brees' last game in the dome. The man has given us over a decade in excellence from the QB position and represented our team as well as anyone could've asked for. He'll be missed.
tyler735
So glad to have Harris back! He's going to be an excellent player for years to come for us. So dynamic with the ball in his hands
tyler735
D-Line is getting good pressure so far. Good sign for us to contain the Bucs offense

Yeah had no concern about stopping the Bucs run game coming into the game as we are almost always stout against the run. Brady having time throwing to those weapons is a scary combo
Jlowe22
Settling for field goals is gonna kill us. We need to get in the end zone. At least Litz is gettin his confidence back hopefully.
Canadian Saint
Can't keep coming to the RZ (or close) and coming away with FGs. It'll bite us in the butt.
