They need more shooters and more game smarts.

They need Fultz to figure out his shot and to figure out our rotations. With Fultz.JJ.RoCo, the thought was we could have 3 guys to shoot plus Embiid who has range. Surround them around BS and let them work.

Alsi Saric needs to be used differently (he is not a spot up shooter).

Saric would be best as a sixth man who rarely plays with Simmons

Agreed - unless his shot improves or is more consistent, he doesn't mesh well with Simmons on the floor (lack of spacing). Although they are both electric passers which is fun.

Last year they also had better shooting and didn't have a backcourt of the collective corpses of Wade and Rose.

I already explained.  The Cavaliers knew they were in the playoffs the second half of the season and just coasted.  Right now they're at risk of not even qualifying for the playoffs.  They NEED to win more.

And does ANYONE think the Thunder have been packing it in or they'll suddenly be dominant in the playoffs?   The Thunder are trying hard.  They're just not as good as everyone thought they'd be.

The analogy is only stupid to you because it makes you look bad.   The analogy makes perfect sense.  You just don't like how it looks.

You keep repeating the same moronic garbage.  Lebron is an all time player, but you're saying this isn't those teams, yet simultaneously saying it will be the same situation.  Either you think the team around him is as good as the dynasty Heat teams and the past couple years and the whole team can turn it on, or you think Lebron right now is a better player than he's ever been and going to turn into a combination of Shaq, MJ and Bird this post season.

The record the Celtics have has NOTHING to do with the evaluation.   The Celtics with so many new pieces and young players who are still adjusting to the league - I believe we have SIX rookies playing rotation minutes, yes, the Celtics have a TON of room to grow on offense.  The Cavaliers are loaded with over the hill big names who are on the downside of their career.   It is insane to think the Cavaliers have more upside to grow than the Celtics.  That makes zero sense and you're the only one in the world who thinks that.

The Celtics right now are on pace to being one of the three greatest defenses of the past TWENTY FIVE YEARS.   The Celtics also are third in the league in +/-, meanwhile the Cavs are fourth in scoring and have a NEGATIVE +/-.

The Cavs are not a good team.  They're mediocre team with Lebron James.

Given how the two teams are playing now, even if you account for Lebron and the team turning it on, the Celtics would be easy favorites, especially given the C's will have homecourt.   I don't think you realize how bad the Cavaliers have been playing.  Have you even watched them this year?

They lost Kyrie, that the only shooter they lost. And then they added Crowder who can hit 3s. Jeff Green is capable of hitting it. So as far as shooting most of the guys are still there from last year. Difference is that they're not hitting their shots.

You have no proof they coasted, it's just an easy default. You think the Cavs are worried they won't make the playoffs? Really? Guess they coasted vs Induana in the playoffs as well where they sweeped them by the smallest margin ever. You can say they coasted because you're afforded with the benefit of seeing the results.

Everyone thinks Thubder will eventually get it on because, I don't know if you get this, the regular season is not the same as post season.

Whatever chaos or turbulence happens around LeBrons team have proven to be mute because of him. THATS the point. Like he's that good where he has proven to overcome these problems. That 2013-14 Heat team is comparable to this Cavs team. LeBron had to carry thst team to the Finals. These past couple years they've been that mediocre team with LeBron. Like without LeBron what have they been these past couple years

You're just a hypocrite so the Celtics according to you have plenty of room to grow and this isn't how they're gonna look as the season goes on. Whereas Cleveland, "yep this is them. A team that will struggle to make the playoffs". Not like the Cavs have no new pieces or are missing players, right?

Homecourt? Yeah like that matters to LeBron. He doesn't have to be a combo of MJ, Bird and Shaq lol, like who do you think he is going up against, the Monstars? He just has to be LeBron. And his supporting cast will stick to their roles as they have done in previous years

Someone needs to trade for favors to be their center. He’s so much better as a C than a PF. I wish the cavs would try and get him. He’d be the perfect C for us.

Kevin Love for Derrick Favors, Alec Burks, and Rodney Hood.
