Man the Kyrie MVP narrative is going to be pushed even further now by big Boston media outlets (CC: The Ringer).  Shoot me in the face.

He hasn't even been the best player on his own team this season.

You know how important wins are to the MVP voting. Harden would have won last year but Westbrook had way more wins.

It's pretty funny. All the Ringer dudes: 'Kyrie MVP!'

Someone asked Zach Lowe if Kyrie was the MVP: 'Are you kidding me, no'

A lot of people are old fashioned in the Best player in the Best team should win MVP so if by chance Boston has the most wins he will get votes. Not saying he does or doesn't deserve it because it's too early for me to follow the MVP race.

Who you starting in his place?

I think the 5 best players should be starting

I'm not a believer in that.  Saric is too talented, and not a good enough 3P shooter, to just be a 5th wheel.  If you move him to the bench, then you strengthen the 2nd unit without sacrificing the starting 5 since he's completely miscast in his current role anyways.

I'd start Bayless in his place.

Well part of that wasn't as much as Westbrook won a lot, as much as Harden didn't win enough and Harden's gaudy stats looked less legitimate to winning and value than Westbrooks.

You're going to have to explain this to me.
