My issue was with the word absolute. And the third pick in the NBA draft is not like it's a guaranteed star. He was the third pick in a weak draft, and is likely going to exceed the expectations of that. And I already said, I consider Klay Thompson an elite role player. I'm not saying he's going to be Klay either, but Klay is THE elite role player. The type of role for Brown, is one where he's not a ball handler, but could be a very good shooter off the catch and elite defender, while being a good off ball cutter.
