J-ALL-DAY 5,721
Mack isn't the same player he once was but still an upgrade over what we had. Looks like the OL is now set. Now let's see if they can sign another CB or edge rusher.
757-NINER 1,285
Still a high level Center and easily the best signing so far for me. I've been complaining about our C and RG play for a minute. Still would like to see us draft a young C in the draft to be groomed by Mack. Don't see a downside to this move at all.
J-ALL-DAY 5,721
Looks like it isn't quite done but very close and will be done soon nonetheless.

GW21 1,296
I can't imagine this is any more than a 3 year deal max. He's already 35 and will be 36 this next season. Hopefully we draft someone we can groom behind him. Maybe Creed Humphrey in the 2nd who can play guard then slide into that center spot when he retires.

I figured this was a 1-yr deal maybe 2 at the most. I think a best case scenario would be a 2 year deal, then draft someone like Humphrey or Myers. Also, don't sleep on Drake Jackson or Jimmy Morrissey as a mid-to-late round center. Both are made for our zone-blocking scheme.

J-ALL-DAY 5,721
So apparently this is a 2 years 11M deal or around there as Schefter said "around 5.5M a year." I want to see the guarantees of the deal. But I'm fine with Mack for two years if he wants to play that long.

Groo 6
only about ten years too late I'd still like to see the Niners draft a couple of O-Lineman
