Unless it includes a 1 or 2 next year I don't think I trade down if one of these players is there at our pick:

Asante Samuel Jr.

JOK

Trevon Moehrig

That's it other than that I'm open for business.  I think Teven Jenkins is a guy I'd consider staying a picking if he's there but I could see him landing us a good trade.

i love all those guys. jenkins probabaly the most. but idk with sewell. thats why id want decker at guard (;. have him at RT and sewell at LT. could also be a disaster lol

edit (only because two rookies on both tackles might be wayyyy too risky for goff to live another day lol)

Out of that group, I like a lot of them. However, I think Barmore would be the guy I want the most. I really want the interior DL fixed.

I hear you and I want it too but honestly this isn't the draft to do it.  I like Barmore but I think there will be better talent on the board when we pick.  The DT class is rugged this year.  Can't fix everything and maybe we find a stud next year.  That's my opinion anyway.  If we take him I won't be mad but if we take him over Samuel or JOK who I have ranked way higher I'll be upset.

I think Jenkins would slide into guard.  And it would be one mean line.  And I mean MEAN.

I'm all in on JOK or Moehrig at #41. They are my two highest rated players BY FAR left on the board.

If they are gone, I hope we get one of Marshall, Cox, Samuel, Holland, Ojulari, Basham

Do you think the Lions (and other teams) view JOK as a dime lb/s?

I hope other teams do and let him fall. I think he has versatility and can move around but I think alot of bad evaluations have come out simply based on height/bulk. He is a LB. He can play safety. Especially if the Lions move to more 4-2-5 defense. His talent is through the roof. He's the type of player you draft and mold your defense around him.

Snaps by Alignment for Jenkins

LT 32 224 226

RG 0 0 0
RT 416 635 783

That's strange.  Draft Network states he's played there.

Playing in 37 career games (35 starts) at Oklahoma State, Teven Jenkins experienced time at right guard, left tackle, and right tackle. With a bulk of his experience coming at right tackle, he blossomed during his final two seasons

In 2017, Jenkins played in all 12 games, logging three starts — two at guard and one at tackle.

YOU'RE RIGHT!!!!

For Jenkins, the next logical progression was to start in 2018. The talented offensive lineman started ten games at right tackle and three games at left tackle, filling in for an injured starter on the left side. In 2019, the Oklahoma State tackle reprised his role as an impact starter, helping Chuba Hubbard break the 2,000-yard mark.
