You have two of the NBA's brightest young stars in a spot where one of them will make the finals for the first time. The Hawks are a good team, they aren't going to be a cakewalk for anyone. This has been the most entertaining unpredictable NBA postseason in a long time don’t get the people complaining.

redsoxsuck05
Wish Trae Young would singlehandedly school the Bucks just to watch bk stubbornly deny that a Trae-led team could win in the playoffs...but the Bucks are just a lot deeper. So y'all SHOULD be in the clear!
Deadpulse
Capella is the key to this series IMO. Can he effect Giannis in the paint? Can he dominate the boards? We know Giannis won't be stopped, but if Capela can scare him into taking more jump shots than he wants to its a big W.

The Trae/Jrue matchup is going to be the big one offensively. Jrue is one of the best defensive guards in the NBA and while Trae is a fantastic player he can certainly go through some chucking phases and struggle against elite defenders.
NYRaider
Pretty incredible job by Nate McMillan this year, took over a 14-20 team, led them to a 27-11 record and now they're in the Eastern Conference Finals. They will probably get bodied this series but that's what I thought against Philly too, so who knows. They have a promising future especially if DeAndre Hunter develops. Will be interesting to see what they do with John Collins this offseason.

beekay414
But for real, I'm not stubborn when it comes to being wrong about a player's development. Trae is good at certain stuff that helps elevate a team but his issues are still there. Just need to build a damn good team around him. Man's shooting 41% from the field and 33% from 3. It's his first playoffs and he's had a nice road/run to the ECF. Let's just see if he can stay outta the clamps that Jrue put him in the one time they've matched up. Yeah not to throw shade at the Hawks cause it is impressive that they're in the ECF. But they did beat the Knicks while Randle reverted to himself and the 76ers while Doc and Benny had a complete melt down.

I think the Hawks can take 2 games simply on the basis of their shooting. It ain't gonna be easy whatsoever and who knows what that Brooklyn series took outta the boys. I just think, if we lose this, it'll be because we choked. Flat out.

Miami? They are a myth aided by the bubble and trading away Olynyk and letting Crowder walk doomed them IMO. Those two guys were huge reasons they made that run and both were problems for Milwaukee matchup wise last year. But all it takes is 4 wins in 7. Hawks are capable, as they've proven. Bucks can't take their foot off the gas if they are serious about winning the title. I want these boys to need to recover for two months after these playoffs. I want them to keep the grind on. Get Jim Paschke that title he deserves in his retirement season.
