Right now? Yes.

They've won absolutely nothing and have produced basically zero quality NBA talent. Mark Few has made 2 final 4's in 23 years at Gonzaga and they fold in the tournament every year. But he does do an excellent job of beating down the great WCC teams they pad their record with.

Since Duke last won a title....

Sweet 16
Duke (2016)
Gonzaga (2018)

Elite 8
Gonzaga (2017, 2019)
Duke (2018, 2019)

Final 4
Gonzaga (2017, 2021)

National Championship Games
Gonzaga (2017, 2021)

Remind me again who the better current program is...

Meme Reaction GIF

Trajan Langdon is the Pelicans GM, Elton Brand is the Nets GM, Mike Dunleavy is the Warriors assistant-GM, and Shane Battier has had a prominent role in the Heat's front office and will likely be a GM soon. Quinn Snyder is the coach for the best team in the NBA and we have a ton of former players/assistants who are currently head coaches in college. We also have more talent and star power in the league then any other program by a country mile.

Pelicans...suck. Brand is with the Sixers...suck. Dunleavy? Gross. Heat? lol.

Yeah, we need more fatties in the league. I'm sure Zion will help em out.

At least one of them is playing

Kyrie doesn't have to play. Dude's 28 and has reached the pinnacle of the sport. Won an NBA title against the best dynasty in modern NBA history, a series in which he made the game winner in game 7. He has made over $200M, has had an extremely successful signature shoe, and has accomplished anything you could ever want too. Your players are fighting for roster spots.
