Singapore Sentinels

Motivation - Divisional game against a tough opponent.

Offensive Strategy

Formations:  3 WR (55%)/ 4 WR (20%) / 2 TE (25%)

Our primary formation heading into the game will contain a single back, three receivers, and a tight end. Our secondary formation will be  4 WR personnel with Mooney and Harris getting a little action to roast the depleted Antarctic secondary.

Scheme:  Pass (60%) vs Run (40%)

Passing
Brady will have his trio of receivers to start the game - Keenan Allen, Kendrick Bourne and Laviska Shenault. Allen will be the main focus this week of the passing game as we think the Beasts will try to put most of their coverage assets on Waller.

We are going to line up Darren Waller all over the field though and allow Brady to pick his matchups. This is going to allow our other receivers open space in the middle on crossing routes and slants. Brady will use his processing speed to dissect the Beasts secondary.

Rushing
Hunt will get the start because he is our best RB in all honesty. Hunt and Gaskins will get the majority of the carries this week with Herbert spelling them. We will use outside zone runs to stretch the Antarctic DL out and set up the pass for Brady with some play action. Both Gaskins and Hunt are excellent receiving options for Brady as well and will act as safety valves to deflate the Beasts Pass Rush.

Defensive Strategy

Formations:  4-2-5 Nickel / 4-3 Under

Run Defense
With Barkley out this week we turn our focus to stopping Edmunds, Ingram and Jackson.
We are going to control the line and keep Jackson bottled up. We have the LBs needed to fill the gaps and limit his ability to get first downs. Christian Kirksey will spy on Jackson to limit his impact on Run Options/RPO. JOK gets the start as he is the future at LB.

Donald and Cox will plug the middle and collapse the pocket on Lamar to not give him time to freelance.

Pass Rush
Reddick takes back his familiar role across from Danielle Hunter to bring pressure from our front four for most of the game. The rotation off the bench of Oweh and Ingram will make sure that our guys stay primed all day to keep that pressure on.  This should force Jackson into some errant throws into max coverage and not give his receivers time to develop their routes.

Stopping Donald, Cox, Hunter and Reddick will be a task this week for Antarctica. Oweh continues his campaign for Defensive Rookie of the Year and has proven both effective at stopping the run and creating havoc in the backfield.

Pass Defense
Formation - Cover 2 Man

We want Jackson to try and beat us with his legs as we think we have the on field speed to stop him. So we are going into a Cover 2 Man look this week with both Johnson and Poyer deep to not give up the big plays to the Beast's receivers.

Bryce Hall, Kyle Fuller, and Jonathan Jones will be responsible for the underneath routes. Adrian Phillips is our Dime S this week and will cover their 4th WR. We think by limiting their big play opportunities and focusing on stopping Jackson we can keep it close enough  for TB12 to win the day.

Coverage Assignments:
·         Antonio Brown / Kyle Fuller - CB
·         Stefon Diggs / Bryce Hall - CB
Chris Godwin  / Jonathan Jones - CB
·         Cole Kmet / JOK - LB
         Ceedee Lamb  / Adrian Phillips - S

Week 6 Gameplan

Motivation: Win em all

Offensive Formations: Our dominant formation this week will be Shotgun 5WR (50%), 4 WR/1RB (40%), 3WR/1TE/1RB (10%)

Tempo: Playing a traditional tempo with lots of motion before the snap to help LJ see formations and reads.

Designed Playcall Distribution: 70% pass, 30% run (If anyone says we can't win with LJ throwing heavy it means you didn't read the gameplan and will get called out lol)

Running: Edmonds will carry the load this week in the run game. Our run game will involve a 3 part approach.  Part 1 (outside zone read option) will take advantage of our formations and the weak edge guys on Singapore's D-line.  Going 4 and 5 wide 90% of the game will keep Singapore spread out and allow us to use the outside zone read option to attack Singapore DE with no help behind them.  If the DE bite on the give then LJ will have all day to run, but if they stay home on LJ then Edmonds will have all day to run.  Part 2 (LJ) will see LJ take off and run via the pass.  So with this LJ will be explicitly looking to scrambling off of certain pass plays.  Again, the 4 and 5 wide should spread the field and open 10-20 yard easy chunk runs via scrambling.  Part 3 (screens/flares/rpo's) will be from the quick passing game.  WR/RB screens and flares will get the ball in our playmakers hands quick and in the spread out field they should have plenty of room to do their thing.  The RPO's will keep the LB's honest.

Passing: we will be targeting the favorable matchup in the passing game this week.  It's a pick your poison type of game for Singapore and all of the poisons are gonna burn them lol.  We want at least 1 deep route option on each passing play, 1 check down, and 2 mid range options.  As mentioned before LJ will be looking to run a lot via the scramble.  We will also run playactions off the QB draw and read options.

First play of the game: 5 go routes with LJ looking to scramble if the shot is not there.

Defense Base Formation: Nickle

Passing Defense: The way to beat Singapore is the same way to beat the Bucs, make Brady think about getting hit so his footwork gets bad and his throws get bad.  We will do this by blitzing a lot from various looks and using various blitzers.  Overloading various sides of the line, overloading gaps, twists, delayed blitzes, we will be using everything this week.  The goal is to hit Brady a freaking lot.  We may or may not sack him a lot but we will hit him a ton and Brady will be more worried about his legs getting hit than passing which will lead to a number of picks from our DB's playing tight man coverage.

Run defense:  As stated we are blitzing heavy this week which will help stop the run by moving the line back into the backfield and hitting the backs for a loss.

The twins plan is to beat up Brady and stop the passing game but they've only got 3 total CB's to play in this game, and blitzing hard all game will leave those guys on an island. Sing Sing kind of gives Antartica what they want by allowing LJ to run, but I think in the end Brady burns the Beasts and some gassed out DB's for a score to win it.

But their 4 CB's (same as us) has a better shot to not be gassed guarding 4 and 5 wide (all elite wr's) and chasing LJ around.  This is a laughable reason and is what makes me want to quit this league on a weekly basis.

No you have 3 CBs, and Hamsah was placed on IR two weeks ago.

You know, aside from the fact that if you wanted to play Hamsah at CB he'd get ******* roasted. And if he played S he'd get ******* roasted. And if he played LB he might not get ******* roasted. You might be onto something. But he's not playing.

Tempted to go Antarctica cause Fuller was a backup on Sunday(two snaps played) and we all know that playing a backup DB is the most egregious offense you can make in BDL.

Eh he can be replaced with #7 out of 118 CB Tevaughn Campbell.
