I mean we won playing the exact same game as our prior losses.       Nothing changed,  just the opponent level.

I disagree, we had losses early in the run where you could see the greatness that was coming. Inversely, with the win you can see we are moving the opposite direction of greatness. Nothing in this game gave me hope. The defense? Nah, they barely beat up on a trash Giants offense.

I just looked it up.

On the end of first half TD drive, Gore had 7 carries for 41yds and a TD.

2nd half he had 3 total carries spread across 3 different drives; -1, 12 (penalty), 1.

Unacceptable.

The day after is always interesting. This one is no exception. Let's start with snap counts. Derrick Gore had 16 but got noticed. josh Gordon had 32 and didn't. On defense, Sorensen had only 27 snaps.

Willie gay had only 38 snaps but had an INT for his time on the field. He's a bit excited. I recall when Zack Greinke had mental issues. He got over it and settled down into an elite SP.

There is a lot more. With Green Bay coming up, we need to get on track fast. Having a defense that can contain a mediocre offense is better than no defense, but Aaron Rodgers is not mediocre.

Here’s the thing about Gay only having 38 snaps, how many times did we hear he and Bolton needed to step up, or that he was all over the field, or that the young linebacker tandem is making moves.  Bottom line, Gay and Bolton need to be playing the most end of discussion.  I’d still consider going to get Jaylon Smith, though I’m wondering if his leg just can’t cut it.
