šŸ¤‘Ā secondary finally earned their paychecks, creating turnovers and making plays on the ball, Newsome got beat by Chase a few times but his catchup speed and ability to then make a play on the ball showed why he was a 1st rounder

šŸ„°Ā Chubb is just unbelievably good, he makes it all look so effortless

šŸ¤ Ā Baker wasn't perfect but he made throws in 4th when we needed him too, looked like a leader out there and didn't let any of the noise this week effect him

šŸ¤Ā still too many dumb penalties, need to keep working to clean those up because eventually they will cost us

Another down: Jarvis Landry

Ā

I think heā€™s gone this offseason. Have Felton line up in the slot.

Do you think he gets cut at season's end, or do you think another organization would do 6th or late rounder for his services and leadership type of thing?

Probably just cut right?

100% cut. Book it. He's way overpaid and getting older.

It really depends on what happens with teams like Green Bay and Seattle. I could see Tampa Bay wanting Jarvis.

Up

1.) The Team's ability to keep the main thing the main thing.

-- No more distractions and no moreĀ big name players that the media loves to stir up controversial headlines about means the Browns can focus in on just trying to win.

2.) The Team's fighting spirit

-- A lot of people and coaches had their backs against the wall this week Joe Woods, Stefanski's playcalling, Baker, the WR group, whether Blake Hance could fill in for Jack Conklin, etc and the team came out fighting across the board

3.) The DBs - Greg Newsome II, Denzel Ward, AJ Green

-- They balled out

4.) Baker's Down the Field, Explosive, and Big Play Confidence

-- Finally converting to DPJ was huge. Misses to Schwartz, OBJ and Higgins earlier in the season likely means DPJ is the vertical guy now. Clear role, clear approach likely signals more success in the future.

5.) Joe Woods' DB Blitz Prowess

-- I hate it typically especially when Myles drops, but it worked today especially when the DB pressure was fake and they dropped into coverage

Honorable Mention: Nick Chubb's and Myles Garrett's continued excellence

----------

Down

1.) Jarvis' Future Usage

--- Jarvis still coming back from injury, but it looks like he might start to be phased out of the offense in favor of younger playmakers.

Will be interesting to see how things shake out.

Yeah, any trade would require a contract restructure for sure given there's no guarantees left, but Jarvis is just the vet player that each and every year gets traded for a future 6th or 7th and agrees to cut theirĀ last year salary in half or thereabouts for their next team.

Though for Jarvis he likely wants the OBJ agency to be a free agent so he might resist a restructure just to force his way to being cut.
