and a coaching staff struggling to score 17+ points in 4 of the last 5 games, and a defensive coordinator that refuses to blitz, play man coverage, or get off of the field on 3rd or 4th down in any capacity over the last 2 years. Thankfully, Woods has vowed to play more man coverage and evolve, or something that's not a lie.

Hopefully he continues to not blitz, only rush 4, and play soft zone when we are built to be a man/press man/quarters defense. Hopefully he continues to play Harrison in the slot, where he's garbage, and misuse JJ3, while playing Walker as our MLB in obvious passing situations. Hopefully we continue to pull JOK off of the field on 3rd and 4th Downs.

These threads aren’t for the Browns. They are for us who have to suffer through the week of banter. We deserve better.

Obviously we should win this one, but if we come out and play like we did yesterday, it's totally not out of the realm of possibility that the Lions beat us. They play hard... they just lack talent.

When we go into the shotgun, why dont we use bunch sets withh crossing patterns? 

We seem to run vertical routes like a spread system.  Baker was good throwing crossing routes last year to wrs

 

Mcvay runs tons of crosser and it seems to help the qb. 

Bakers best pass in the pre season was a crossing route to khadarel hodge.
