For what? They'd still be a terrible team, and Ertz has no future.

What does them still being a terrible team have to do with anything?

You trade for him to make life easier on your rookie QB.... something any franchise with a rookie QB starting year 1 should do.

What's Ertz gotta do with the team they've built and their idiotic decision to hire Urban Meyer?

You don't trade picks for aging players when you're in a rebuild.

Eagles are in a rebuild and we traded two late round picks for depth corners from the Jags and the Broncos. Stop it.

Do you mean the two CBs who are both 22 years old? Because that's clearly distinguishable from your idea that the Jaguars should have traded a pick for an AGING player. It's not my fault that it was a dumb idea.

Yeah... guys that haven't touched the field this season like Ertz has and provided no immediate impact.

No... its dumb to think that trading a 5th or 6th round pick for a savvy vet TE who would be starting that could help out your rookie QB is a dumb idea.

You do realize the Jaguars have 10 (!!!) picks from the 5th to 7th round?? They wouldn't have been giving up their picks.

You're smarter than this.

Ertz to Jacksonville would be bizarre.

Teams drafting #1 overall don't really trade for pending UFAs.

Why would Ertz want anything to do with Jacksonville? It took Philly a year to get him to stop his hissy fits. He'd be crying again if he went to Duvall.

I mean obviously the traded only would've went through if Ertz agreed. We weren't gonna send him somewhere he didn't wanna go.

But, obviously its a possibility he wouldn't have wanted anything to do with that inept franchise.
