BDL Discussion Thread 2022

Going into Week 3 and already a third of BDL (5 teams) can't afford a waiver claim without cutting somebody. Woof.

Half the league with less than $1k in cap space. Maybe I'm just misremembering because I always keep a pool of cap space open, but that seems like an unusually high number of teams with very little money at this point in the season.

I usually put myself in this spot.

Yeah, you and Flint are two that I usually think have very little cap maneuverability. Don't remember if anyone else does things the same way.

Well this is our first year. We did make the Kittle trade in part to get more waiver money lol. We had $99 before the trade and no one was dropped since.

Its definitely more than usual this year.  Cause I'm usually able to open space before the trade deadline and that'll be harder this year.

IIRC Singapore usually runs a pretty tight budget. It is definitely more noticeable this year league wide. I’ve got 2k in cap and people already are trying to send me like $600 in salary in trades lol

Those dudes gotta be more subtle. Although we weren't too much so in our trade even. We threw in an extra guy your way on the official offer. LOL.

Saving cap space ain't going into our wallets, so might as well spend it.
