Week 18: New England Patriots (10-6) @ Miami Dolphins (8-8)

The Dolphins are eliminated from the playoffs, and the Patriots are clinched. But it would still be nice to get the divisional sweep on them, no? It would also clinch the Bills as AFC East champs (who wants the Patriots to win our division again?!).

My prediction though...

Miami 21

Tua can head into season 3 with momentum if he plays a great game to finish season 2.

Win or lose, I think Miami plays them close.

2000 was the last time we won the season series vs NE. It’s also the season of our most recent playoff win, which I attended.

Pats r playing for something and I think we have a lot of players that aren’t.

I think we get wrecked this game by 10 points or more.  I sure hope I’m wrong and the Phins can flip the script on this one…….  Especially since a loss doesn’t improve our first round draft position.

You were there for the Lamar Smith celebration? I watched the game on TV. If you'd told me that day the Fins would not win another playoff game for the next 2 decades I would've thought you were crazy.

Yet here we are in 2022 when the Fins have drafted DE Charles Harris instead of TJ Watt, and Tua instead of Justin Herbert. It's been a long journey of pain.

I don't agree with the PI call that led to the TD, but I didn't like the PI call earlier on Rowe either.

So Bob Jones looked pretty good at RT against Judon imo. Why did we wait till week 18 to pull Davis out of the starting lineup again??? Would've been cool to see Jones for a few games at that spot going into the offseason. Hard to evaluate a guy based of one game
