What will we do about the Oline?

Unless you are trading Jonah, you move him to one of those other spots, no?

Yes, if we traded for Tunsil than Williams would move to RT. But he's not very powerful so he's not a good fit for RT responsibilities. Tunsil is much more expensive than Williams and maybe not even better. PFF graded Williams at 74.9 and Tunsil at 60.8 for 2021.

We ought to upgrade from LG to RT and not worry about LT.

To be fair, he only played in 5 games. in 2020 he was graded at 75.4 and in 2019 a 75.8

I agree with this and think it's what they do too. Jonah is fine where he is. Don't overthink and tie too much cap up that you don't need to.

I wouldn't say that missing 12 games is a reason to cut him slack. We shouldn't bring in a 19 million dollar a year player to add 1 point to our LT grade.

I would rather go off a grade for a season where he played more than a 3rd, that's all I am saying. And it isn't purely about improving LT only. Jonah would start and upgrade whatever position he would be starting in. I would prefer to improve our interior line overall, but there is no guarantee we get any of the top lineman in FA. And I sure don't want to have to rely on rookies to start to protect Joe.

Just spent a little time looking into Jason Kelce's free agency status. Basically wanted him back in Cincinnati for years. Doesn't look like a viable option though. Either staying in Philly or retirement. Still, lots of good center options, and guard too. Sign two of Jensen, Jones, Allen, Daniels, Norwell, Williams to go with Spain,  then get a quality right tackle.

I honestly like a lot of the Centers coming out in the draft this year. I definitely think we take one of them. Not a fan of the back end tackles that we would be looking at, at pick 31.

I think we really need to grab a Guard and Tackle in free agency, and if we can’t draft a center, then Hopkins is the back up plan. I don’t think he’s released until we find that option.

Everbody knows the Bengals are looking for O-linemen and have a lot of money to spend. We're also seen as a rising team where a player has a chance for a ring.

So every available O-lineman's agent will be calling. Bengals will have to choose but shouldn't have any trouble signing 4 upgrades.

Even if it's just Cappa, Bozeman, and Glowinski, that's still a lot better than we had last season.

Bozeman would be fine. You're right he's not a great athlete and was a 6th round pick. He's never earned pro-bowl consideration. But he's a good player and would be a considerable upgrade on Hopkins. There's a good group of centers heading into free agency so no excuse not to sign a good one.

My 2/25 prediction for opening day offensive line:

LT: The Jonah / Smith
LG: Spain / Carman
C : Bozeman / Hill
RG: Corbett
RT: Reiff / Moses

Cut: Hopkins, Prince
PS: Johnson, Adeniji

I would be very happy to end up with Moses, Corbett and Bozeman. Those are great upgrades and to keep Spain and Reiff is very good depth.

I don't see them giving up on Carman, Smith, or Hill since Pollack just drafted them, but Adeniji and Price were not Pollack's guys, so easier to move on.  If we had this level of commitment to OL in FA (5 signings technically since Spain and Reiff are FA), then we likely don't go OL in the draft at all unless it is a clear BPA situation.
