Do y'all think Baker is going to the Colts or Seahawks?

Falcons should move on from Matt Ryan. They're a rebuilding team going nowhere this season. Get whatever assets you can and prepare for the future.

Think Baker makes more sense for Seattle, Ryan makes more sense for the Colts.

I think Ryan will stay in Atlanta or get moved to Philly if he goes anywhere.

No idea on Baker. Both seem interested

No basically, if Baker goes to the Colts and the Panthers don’t want Jimmy, we are screwed. That’s also if the Saints are serious about resigning Winston

I think (and hope) Seattle will make a push for him

Agreed on Falcons.. they put it all out there and came up short, it's time to just get a couple picks from Ryan and take a chance on one of these rookies on day 2

Not really worried about it. We aren't really screwed, just means we wait for him to get healthy and then cut him. That's worse case scenario

Punting on free agency is not being screwed? Forget the damn 7.5M if you can't move him and open up that cap space while there are still moves to be had.

IF we wait until training camp to release him, then fine....The team will have a lot of cap space and they better be aggressive at the trade deadline to make a move that could take them over the top.

A decent chunk of this is likely earmarked for rookies, deebo and Bosa. That can pretty much be done whenever

Doesn't matter, RIGHT NOW it makes matters more difficult with him on the roster. You are punting on free agency period. They were in the Jones sweepstakes so if we would have signed him, what would we have done with Jimmy then? Would they have done some restructures to be able to sign Jones?

Like a future day three pick or even a 3rd round pick is not worth all this. It's okay, they had hopes of flipping him after the season to regroup some compensation that they lost on the Lance trade up. But things happen and that's not reality any longer. Holding out for something is not worth opening up 19M in cap space and being big players to continue building the a SB caliber roster....This OL can still use some improvements.......

If you dumped him now, then used the money, you'd have to make corresponding moves in the summer to do deebo, Bosa and the rookies.

So the question really is why they haven't made those corresponding moves now if they were interested in free agency.

Same thing, different order

My guess is they have targeted people. If they agree to terms, they will make one of the other moves they have queued up
