NYRaider
The Dejounte Murray trade rumblings haven't quieted down and neither has the Spurs rumored interest in John Collins. I wonder if this would get it done... Hawks receive: Dejounte Murray Spurs receive: John Collins, Hornets 2023 1st, Hawks 2023 1st, Hawks 2025 1st
NYRaider
Also if I were the Knicks I'd dig into that treasure chest of picks I acquired last night and offer 3 picks + Mitchell Robinson in a S&T for Murray. Way better player than Brunson for legitimately half the cost.

Lillard ??? Durant Grant Nurkic Guess they could use Bledsoe's deal to go get someone on a bad contract (Brogdon?) if they needed to.

They have like 8 guards/wings that are 23 or younger while Murray is going to be 26 and has two years left on his extremely team friendly deal before he's very likely going to get a max contract. They can get a bunch of future draft capital and then embrace the tank for Victor.

Or they can go get someone like Gary Harris or Avery Bradley on a vet minimum. Edited June 25, 2022 by NYRaider

Like, if Atlanta gets Dejounte Murray, they might be open to moving Bogdanovic. Eric Gordon is another option. Bogdan Bogdanovic (2 years, $18m) Malcolm Brogdon (3 years, $22.6m) Buddy Hield (2 years, $21.1m) Eric Gordon (2 years, $19.5m) They also have a $20.86m TPE from the McCollum trade to use to acquire one of these guys too. So they'd have a multitude of ways to fill out their roster should they want to go all in this year. Edited June 25, 2022 by beekay414

There are a couple scenarios where they could potentially keep Hart if they got a third team involved that was willing to take on Bledsoe's expiring deal and send the Nets something. Lillard - Hart - Durant - Grant - Nurkic

Also just thought about this, if the Spurs want to maximize their return on him, now is the time to do it. I think that he's a much more valuable trade piece to teams if they're able to get him for 2 yr/$34M then he would be down the line with one year left on his deal with an impending max deal or two years down the line in a S&T where he's on a max deal. The Spurs are also in a unique position because they have $30M in cap space so they can take a lot more $$$ back when they send out Murray's $16.5M If they want too so they really aren't handicapped by anything and can really seek max value back for him.
