textaz03
One in Ewers, stop looking for the long ball!!
textaz03
Sad!! Texas lost. Ewers was not good tonight, Worthy sucked, Sanders was inconsistent. The Defense looked great. Texas is a young team and is still building that program. This experience is invaluable. Looking forward to finishing next 2 weeks strong, end with a Bowl game and bring in the next recruiting class. Yeah, definitely at least a year away from being a strong contender...but the potential is there.
pf9
If the Big 12 adds more schools in 2025 to coincide with the departures of OU and Texas, they should be Boise State, Memphis, SMU, South Florida, Temple, and Tulane. SMU being in the Big 12 with TCU would be huge, they haven't shared a conference since the 2000 WAC season, and SMU would be the closest Big 12 school to conference headquarters in Irving. This could lead to the Battle for the Iron Skillet being played on Black Friday at AT&T Stadium, a day after the annual Cowboys game. In such a scenario, the universities (who would split ticket sales 50-50 and divide their fans along the 50-yard line a la OU-Texas) and the Cowboys could coordinate to offer ticket packages that cover both games. WizardHawk
Blah. Iowa lays an egg against Nebraska. Can’t say I didn’t see it coming though. Defense has carried 99% of the load this season and it was bound to happen. It’s truly disgusting how inept Iowa is offensively. Shutout for 2.5 qtrs by a defense ranked 111th. As a bonus though, I get confidently say no changes will be made to offensive staff.

textaz03
Well, doesn’t look like Texas is gonna have a chance at Big 12 Championship. Couldn’t get any help from Kansas tonight. It was a good year though, good building and recruiting year! Looking forward to what ever Bowl Game we get now, end the season on a high note! Posted back to back 10 win seasons before BU poached him. Think NU finally got it right after some head scratching hires. Thought Frost would at least be competitive, but it didn’t take very long to see he wasn’t the answer.

And it now appears that Wisconsin is going to hire Luke Fickell. The B1G will be loaded with great coaches.
