FGK
Man. That was a helluva game. Really fun one to watch. I'm really excited that the team is meshing as quickly as they are. And it's fun watching the national media wake up to the idea that a team with four all-star level players and two all-NBA candidates should probably have been in the true top tier of contenders. Such a fun team to watch. Hoping for at least average injury luck this year and a top 3-4 seed so we get at least one home playoff series. If the way they're playing together this early points toward them meshing even better late season (Mobley cuts and elbow passes, Mitchell/Garland pick and pop actions, elbow screens and pin downs, etc.), they could 100% be a year ahead of schedule on conference finals contention.

I don’t want to be a victim of the moment or a homer, but this team can play with anyone in the East and if they’re hot anyone, period. Garland and Mitchell are legit studs. Mobley looks to be as well, but is still young. Allen is really good at what he does. Love is great in his role. Rubio will be a welcomed addition when he returns. hopefully some slightly over the hill 3 will get bought out and realize just how close this team could be.

Wonder if the Celtics will dump Jayson Tatum if their team continues to wallow in mediocrity. He'd be a solid addition.

mrpazzo
23 hours ago, MWil23 said: Never forget that Kyrie Irving was accepted and enrolled at DUKE UNIVERSITY Yes, but he was only there for a year. Critical thinking skills of most students improve over 4 years. Kyrie, wants to be engaged with issues in society, but not only has he demonstrated that he has no training in, and experience in evaluating source material, (reading or viewing something on the internet and sharing a link ain't real research) he has no stomach for debate. There is a lot of back and forth argument and debate that people interested in politics/social issues engage in on a college campus beyond classes. He is not used to people coming back hard at him, and telling him he is wrong, which is to be expected with his limited experience of arguing back and forth with people from different backgrounds as equals (another benefit of college). Either you, Kyrie, stand by the loathsome anti-semitic beliefs you associated yourself with by sharing the link and putting these beliefs out to the public for review and consumption and let the public know who you really are, or you change your stance, having learned more and been educated on the subject and history of anti-semitism. Once people are in the NBA they have wealth and power, and folks don't like to tell them that they are full of it. Kyrie is getting a dose of reality in dealing with the world as it is, rather than the echo chamber of the internet.😉
